Nation Bonus is a vital mechanic of nations that gives nations with large amounts of residents additional claims for member towns. For instance a town with 1 resident normally has 12 plots, but if they are a part of a nation with a bonus of 40 they will have 52 claimable plots. Nation bonus also acts as Overclaim protection, and allows smaller towns to expand larger without having to worry about having large amounts of residents. A town will have the nation bonus so long as it remains in the nation. If a town leaves, or the number of residents falls below the thresholds below towns with more townblocks than available claims can be overclaimed.

Ideals
The United Mexican States is a group of nations with the common goal of a prosperous, free, and self sustaining Mexico. The States stands for democracy and security in the region, and more broadly across North America. The alliance is a defense, economic, and territorial pact between member nations.

History
Pre-Alliance
On June 16th, 2024 _Vails and IsabelleIzzy founded The Second Michoacán Republic as a breakaway from Texas as "a direct result of the incompetent ruling of Texas by North Paso and The Rocky Administration." The nation was bought from Sometexan and converted from New Mexico to Michoacán.

While initially declaring no hostile intentions against Texas and taking a neutral stance on the rebels, the declaration did point to them as example of the incompetence. This upset leaders in Texas, particularly Paso. On June 25th, 2024 Cascadia declared war on Texas due to California (Aurora) joining Texas as a state, and Michoacán would support Cascadia, beginning official hostilities with Texas.

On July 20th, 2024 Michoacán was renamed to Mexican_Empire after discussion between IsabelleIzzy and _Vails. While only being one nation this marked the founding of what would become the alliance.

On July 27th, 2024 Oklahoma was purchased, marking the first nation to enter The Empire as a state. On July 28th, 2024 The Empire joined the OFN as an observer, one month later gaining full member status.

Founding, and Era of The Second Mexican Empire
On September 8th, 2024 the Federation of Second The Mexican Empire was formed. The founding nations were Mexican_Empire, Mexico City, Huasteca, and Mexico with Veracruz as an observer. The stated goal of the alliance was to form a united Mexico and create peace and stability in the region. The deceleration also declared Texas and Nebraska enemies of the alliance.

The First Age of Growth
On September 9th, 2024 Colima joined The Empire.

On September 24th, 2024 Norway would join The Empire.

On September 28th, Veracruz came under the protection of The Empire with the signing of the Treaty of Xalapa.

War with Texas
During Negotiations with Texas over the war, Paso would crash out at _Vails, continually stall, compared the OFN to Nazi Germany, among a lot more. _Vails would later release the call raising tensions even further. A few days later, North Paso would temporarily quit the server due to the war with Mexico, Cascadia, and an incident with Karn4 stealing 50,000 gold from Texas' reserves. This led to the signing of The Treaty of Vancouver, with Mexico and Cascadia declaring victory over Texas.

The Age of Stagnation
On October 10th, 2024 _Vails would quit the server, transferring ownership of the nation to IsabelleIzzy and ownership of the alliance to 911saph. The alliance and nation would fall into decline over the coming months due to inactivity of members. Mexico and Norway would eventually leave the alliance due to the inactivity, and with Mexico's departure it left the alliance all but dead and with no leader.

During this time the Soviet-Mexican Alliance Pact was signed between the USSR and Mexican Empire.

The Second Age of Growth
On February 15th, 2025 _Vails would return marking the start of the 2nd age of growth for the empire.

On February 27th, Michigan joined The Empire.

Rename to United Mexican States
On March 4th, 2025 The Second Federation of the Mexican Empire was renamed to The United Mexican States or Estados Unidos Mexicanos after passing a vote prompted by HSHZ in the council of 3-5-2 (the options in order: No change, United Mexican States, United States of Mexico).

El-Dorado

1126554421376073888: updated linking to reflect changes to United Mexican States

El-Dorado is a town in the United Mexican States and serves as the capital for the nation Mexican_Empire. El-Dorado was founded by IsabelleIzzy who serves as its mayor to this day. The town is named after the fictional city of El Dorado said to be the city of gold.

}}

History
Pre-founding
IsabelleIzzy joined Aurora on October 3rd, 2022 but would not actually play until around May of 2024. Upon rejoining the server she joined Houston after asking to join a city with a map art platform. Despite this she would never make any map art in Houston due to the queue system to use their platform, instead opting to grind for the gold to found her own town.

Founding
El-Dorado was founded on May 22nd, 2024. The town was originally part of Texas. The location was chosen at the request of North Paso who was looking to expand Texas into Mexico. The town was founded with enough gold initially to claim 73 chunks in an 8x9 radius. This was done to build a map art platform in order to start producing map art, which was Isabelle's original intention when joining the server. Many map arts have been produced at El-Dorado since its founding.

Conflict with Mexico
Shortly after its founding, El-Dorado found itself at the center of a territorial dispute between Texas and Mexico along with other towns founded by Texas in the region. 911Saph claimed that Texas had encroached upon Mexico's claimed land with these towns, and demanded that they either join Mexico, or leave Texas. North Paso urged the towns to expand in preparation for war, which IsabelleIzzy did with gold she had mined, expanding to 92 chunks, the size the town remains at as of March 3rd, 2024.

At the time Texas was dealing with a potential war on two fronts, one with a newly formed rebel group in their core territory, and the new conflict brewing in Mexico. As a result Paso and the Rocky Administration decided to capitulate for the time being and told the towns to join Mexico. While the intention was to deal with the rebels before eventually having the towns rejoin Texas, IsabelleIzzy and _Vails took this as a betrayal and evidence of a underlying belief in Texas' governing incompetence which had been growing over the past few weeks. Despite directing the founding of these towns, and their expansion, Texas was unwilling to back them up when met with resistance. As a result the two decided to break off and found what would become the United Mexican States. 911Saph was satisfied with the outcome, as the declaration directly cut ties with Texas and made it clear that the new nation was not a puppet of Texas, and even went as far as to condemn Texas.

Conflict with Texas
Shortly after breaking away IsabelleIzzy and the town were directly threatened by North Paso. Paso threatened to place a town right beside El-Dorado to claimblock or even overclaim the town. IsabelleIzzy managed to defuse the situation, insisting that they were not hostile towards their former nation, and that these actions were unnecessary. While true at the time, the incident would escalate tensions between the two and later United Mexican States (The Second Michoacán Republic at the time) would go to war with Texas. Despite previous threats, El-Dorado was mostly left alone by Texas and did not get claimblocked by Texas, unlike the at the time capital Mochar.

El-Dorado mostly stayed out of the conflict aside from occasionally making propaganda map art.

The war officially ended with the Treaty of Vancouver, which prevented Texas expansion past the Rio Grande thereby ending any potential threat to El-Dorado. The town has remained out of conflict since.

Becoming the Capital
On October 10th, 2024 _Vails would quit the server, transferring ownership of the nation (now renamed Mexican_Empire) to IsabelleIzzy. This made the town the capital, which it has remained ever since. upon transfer IsabelleIzzy opted to close the /n spawn while working on the city to make it a more appealing place, and work on a national shop. This era of expansion continues to this day, with almost all of it being driven solo by IsabelleIzzy. Despite _Vails return, El-Dorado remains the capital city.

Ideals
The Second Federation of The Mexican Empire is a group of nations with the common goal of a prosperous, free, and self sustaining Mexico. The Empire stands for democracy and security in the region, and more broadly across North America.

Founding

}}

As a result the two decided to break off and found what would become the Second Mexican Empire.

While true at the time, the incident would escalate tensions between the two and later Second Mexican Empire (The Second Michoacán Republic at the time) would go to war with Texas.

The Second Federation of The Mexican Empire is a group of nations with the common goal of a prosperous, free, and self sustaining Mexico. == History ==
Pre-Alliance
On June 16th, 2024 _Vails and IsabelleIzzy founded The Second Michoacán Republic as a breakaway from The Republic of Texas as "a direct result of the incompetent ruling of Texas by North Paso and The Rocky Administration." The nation was bought from Sometexan and converted from New Mexico to Michoacán.

Pre-History
SML bought premium and named his nation Pueblo but then renamed to New_Mexico.

Founding
After the collapse of old New_Mexico SML128 founded New_Mexico and the city of Taos.

What Happened Next
As taos (Santa_fe) became more and more inactive soon saw a new town join it. This town was New_Havana a town that was founded by Fidel_Cassarole, this soon became the biggest city in all of new mexico, it was a booming metropolis with buildings, then out of the blue fidel_cassarole was quitting and handed it to his most trusted "Baconmayonaise1" once fidel or what bacon called him "Fidel Meh Pickle" left Bacon felt emptyness with the City and saw that without fidel it had no future so he handed it back and went to New Zealand for a fresh start and made a booming metropolis of his own.

RIP fidel_cassarole :(

-- The down fall of New_Mexico --
Once Explosivefw took control of New_havana new havana died and got claimed by USA before he realized it and turned overclaim protection on. Sadly New Havana knocked all its major buildings town for the greed that is Explosivefirewk then left new mexico to join Michigan and left SML128 in the dust and sold it to Texas where it became a puppet.

Shortly after the user: Sometexan took control but a few months later sold it.
