Before RSA was known as RSA, it used to be two separate nations. Those two nations were Drakensberg and Natal. These two nations merged together to form the SAR on the 11th of February 2024, a week after Drakensberg's creation. The oldest town of SAR was and still is Richards Bay, owned by extro089, created on the 7th of August 2023. Unfortunately times were not always peaceful. The Zulu Empire lead by Zizu1998 turned into SAR's #1 enemy due to their disrespect, spamming inappropriate messages in SAR's discord, and hunting SAR citizens. Fortunately the Zulu Empire was not here to stay as their leaders got banned for duping up to 20000 gold just as the SAR made a big change in it's name, flag, and future. The SAR changed it's name to the RSA which stands for the Republic of South Africa. The flag was changed to the old Transvaal flag. Times didn't stay peaceful for too long as Nubia came knocking at the RSA's door looking for a border agreement just as Hill Brook left RSA with his town of 115 residents to join Nubia. After a month of trying to figure out a border with Nubia, and time being wasted unintentionally, Nubia placed towns all over southern Africa also taking a few towns from RSA, big ones being Luks and Cape Town. All this happened while the map for EarthMC was unusable. RSA and Nubia finally agreed to a border and have been neutral towards each other. RSA has been making a comeback where our lowest amount of towns was down to 15 with little amount of active residents, to now 34 towns with up to 13 residents online at the same time sometimes.

RSA's first ever King was Spawned_Eagle. After he announced his retirement from politics, Spawned_Eagle made GroovyLav and Divine_Mango the new Kings, leading to a dual King system. GroovyLav retired from EarthMC days after becoming the King, which led to Vertualy taking his place.

The original heirs used to be extro089, Divine_Mango and Hillbrook4(i1mm0rtal). Spawned_Eagle chose his two new heirs after the previous two were not active enough. GroovyLav and DK_Simon became the Heirs. Later on Heirs became Royals. There were then 3 Royals, GroovyLav, extro089, and DK_Simon.

The capital of the RSA is the city of Rustenburg. Located in the center of South Africa and alongside the mountains of Lesotho, this gorgeous city was created on the 4th of February 2024. It consists of a village area made for show, a castle on a mountain, a cathedral, and a shop at its n spawn.

The RSA has it's own football/soccer league! Named the Southern Stars League, it was created in August of 2024 by GroovyLav consisting of four teams in it's first season. == History ==
The nation was created on May 6th, 2022, with as capital Amsterdam. The towns of Brussels, The Hague, Den Haag, Antwerp, Flanders, Essen, [[Luxembourg]], Calais, Mainz and Köln then joined the nation on the same day.

Originally, the nation was meant to be called Benelux, but after a vote among the nations' members on May 5th, 2022, the name Netherlands was chosen instead.

On May 7th, 2022, the nation had already created a small shop at its nation spawn, selling various early-game items.

The nation spawn then continuted to improve. A decent blaze exp farm was created, and the shop now sells popular items such as Mending. A free sugar cane farm is also available, and only requires players to AFK for a bit to obtain sugar cane.

On May 20th, 2022, the town of Brussels left the nation to create the nation of Belgium. Quickly after that, it was decided to create a Benelux meganation, consisting of existing Netherlands, and the newly made Belgium.

One day later, the nation of Kaiserreich declared war on the nation citing claim-blocking as thier ''casus belli''. Quickly, towns across the Netherlands began expanding quickly to block the approach of newly made Kaiserreich towns that were getting closer.

The nationality of town Saint-Malo started being disputed in early June 2022 by Franco-Germany, who claimed the territory of the Dutch town as thiers, along with towns in the Rhineland and Luxembourg.

On July 2nd, 2022, the nation spawn was moved and the new Dutch Shopping District opened. It comes with various shops, surrounding a canal, inspired of real life Amsterdam.

The next day, the nation of Transvaal joined Netherlands, with its citizens officialy becoming Dutch citizens, having equal stature in the dutch parliament and government.

On July 8th, 2022, the government was reformed : Ministers are now elected by citizens, and the Prime Minister is chosen by the Koning (King). Elections are held every two months. The four ministers are Infrastructure, Domestic Affairs, Finance, and Foreign Affairs. The first election took place on July 12th, 2022.

On June 26th, 2022, the EMC Protestant church was launched by the Netherlands.

On June 28th, 2022, a colony in the Cape of Good Hope, [[Cape]], was founded by MadGeckos. (Later sold to Zizu1998 and made into a colony of [[RSA]]

The next day, the nation of [[Livonia (Aurora)|Livonia]], bought by StLouis_, joined the Netherlands as a viceroyalty. This also caused the french exclave of Saint-Malo to be lost after being sold.

On August 16th, 2022, the conflict with Deutsches_Reich, formerly Kaiserreich, was ended by the Netherlands becoming peaceful. Due to inactivity in the German side, the conflict remained dead and stale.
On March 2023, a colony in the East Indies, DutchEastIndies, was founded by StLouis_.

The government is a Monarchy/Military Junta. It is composed of a King, and a Council chosen by the King.
Until January 22nd, 2023, the government was a parliamentary system, where members of the chamber could vote on propositions issued by another member. The system was abolished after attemps of overthrowing the ruling government by use of the parliament, which led in a coup led by a military junta backed by the monarchy.
