Spanning from the coasts of [[Nostra:gotland|Gotland]] to the Danube River and from the Sudetes to the Volga, the Commonwealth currently stands as one of Terra Nostra's most extensive nations, with a claimed area of over 15000 chunks and a population of ~930 members. It is concurrently the 5th oldest nation in Terra Nostra, having been made roughly 24 hours after server release, and currently contains one of the largest activity pockets in the entire server. Prior to the release of Nostra, the community of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth mostly consisted of players from the Qing Dynasty, a nation located in East Asia. Following the announcement of EarthMC's 3rd reset, the Qing community (much like the majority of players in the rest of EMC) was caught at a time of uncertainty, where it had to be decided what their successor nation would be. Along the month of October 2025, TheMagicTom, back then Qing's leader, had launched a series of polls to decide what their next nation would be. Originally contesting with Prussia and the Kingdom of Portugal, the choice to make the Commonwealth won the poll and became the consensus.

During the following months, other communities that were caught at the crossroads (some familiar and friendly with Qing) decided to join the Commonwealth cluster, particularly the players of Aland, Baltic, Crusader States, Kazakhstan, and Poland. With new faces coming into the scene, the newly-formed PLC group had managed to amass an amount of 30 premium players, thus becoming one of the largest and best-organized pre-reset communities alongside France, Japan and Australia. Under the leadership of TheMagicTom and thanks to Huxf's organization skills, the stage was set and a plan was set in motion for the in-game creation of the PLC.

Following this, Mlecz released a Counter-Ultimatum that copied TheMagicTom's words almost exactly. You can see it in the following Block quote.

On 2nd of May, Poland, with the capital recently renamed to 'Epic_Warsaw', was bought by the PLC for 3,600 gold (raised by residents and the elite in a 'mining event') when it was bought by someone after it was accidentally put for sale for 0 gold by Mlecz. Soon after, a remaining Polish chancellor kicks out all the towns from the nation.

====PLC vs Polska====

4th of May at 7:22pm, the nation of 'Polish_State' is formed, based on an identically named country from Nova, but then the administration changes its name to 'Greater_Poland'. They invite every town from previous Poland into the new nation. Epic_Warsaw is renamed to Warszawa. A battle then occured between the PLC town of East_Prussia and a few people from the new Polish nation.

On the 10th of may, Greater_Poland changed its name for a second time to Polska (Polish for 'Poland') after an appeal ticket.

On the 6th of May, the nation of Uruguay joined the PLC as an overseas territory/colony. On the same day Vifter, Duke of Ukraine, finished building the PLC's Map art canvas. The PLC's First map art was an advertisement for the PLC's shop, followed by a few music albums. Another map art canvas was made in the town of Warschau (formerly Poland_Seige).

Bobbobster or Bobster (a player of Polska) reclaimed Warszawa, therefore claiming the entirety of the nation of Polska.

===The first election===

The discord was updated on the 14th to include the channels 'sejm convocations', 'sejm applications', 'elections', 'candidacies'. It was revealed that there would be a 48 hour buffer period until true elections could happen. The Grand Chancellor election was between 7Kar (the provisional Grand Chancellor) and bartoszmakoksa (also known as Sygmus_Pieruński_Prajem on the discord).

On the 20th of may, the electoral victors were revealed. The may 20th 'Kyiv Press' newspaper showed that out of 32 total votes, 71.9% voted for 7Kar to be Grand Chancellor again, leaving bartoszmakoksa with only 28.1% of the votes.

What resulted from this was a PLC event called "POLAND IS OURS". people of all nations teleported to Warszawa as the leaders of the PLC set up TNT everywhere around the main 'Palace' of Warszawa. At roughly 5 pm, the first TNT were detonated, PLC officials all lined up infront of the crater as the people took screenshots with them and the ruins. Spanning from Gotland to the Crimean Peninsula and standing at 5500 chunks in size, the PLC is one of the most extensive nations in Terra Nostra, with its capital being located in [[Warsaw (Nostra)|Warsaw]].

Prior to the release of Nostra, the community of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth mostly consisted of players from the Qing Dynasty, a nation located in East Asia. Following the announcement of EarthMC's 3rd reset, the Qing community (much like the majority of players in the rest of EMC) was caught at a time of uncertainty, where it had to be decided what their successor nation would be. Along the month of October 2025, TheMagicTom, back then Qing's leader, had launched a series of polls to decide what their next nation would be. Originally contesting with Prussia and the Kingdom of Portugal, the choice to make the Commonwealth won the poll and became the consensus.

During the following months, other communities that were caught at the crossroads (some familiar and friendly with Qing) decided to join the Commonwealth cluster, particularly the players of Aland, Baltic, Crusader States, Kazakhstan, and Poland. With new faces coming into the scene, the newly-formed PLC group had managed to amass an amount of 30 premium players, thus becoming one of the largest and best-organized pre-reset communities alongside France, Japan and Australia. Under the leadership of TheMagicTom and thanks to Huxf's organization skills, the stage was set and a plan was set in motion for the in-game creation of the PLC.

Simultaneously, one month before Nostra, a [[Nova:Poland|certain group of players]] emerged and proclaimed the Free City of Lodz, later to serve as one of the Commonwealth's enemies in the form of [[Polska]].

On the 6th of May, the nation of Uruguay joined the PLC as an overseas territory/colony. On the same day Vifter, Duke of Ukraine, finished building the PLC's Map art canvas.
