Due to the collapse of some other nations from Aurora, Australia would become a hotspot for migration, especially from Texas with several people migrating. This led to roughly 90 citizens in the Australian Discord before launch, with around 20 having Premium.

Originally under the name of "New Holland", members of Pilbara began planning a successor state for Terra Nostra. The original nation plan was a Democratic Republic without a Monarchy, to be led by Panth_r as the interim President. However, due to the nuking of the Pilbaran Discord and subsequent Pilbara-Oceania War, several original members of the planned nation would leave the plan due to falling outs with the founders, leaving Panth_r, smothyhoo, SparkleAquaRose, GabeTheInsomniac and pritchy009 as the core founding members.
