The iceway was originally created as a personal project of vmsvv. It was originally composed of two lines, the Main Line, going from Piana Piemontese to Ticino, and the blue line, going from the former station of Line Interchange to Padania/Benevo.

The first station reaching a town not part of [[Nostra:Switzerland|Switzerland]], ''Padania/Benevo'', was added after friendly talks between the mayor of [[Nostra:Padania|Padania]], [[Turolatias]], and vmsvv. It was later renamed to ''Padania'' after [[Nostra:Benevo|Benevo]] was disbanded.

On the opposite side, the Blue Line was supposed to reach [[Nostra:Pavia|Pavia]], but the project was abandoned when the main builder of the iceway, vmsvv, left the town of Piana Piemontese to move elsewhere.

=== Expansion ===

After vmsvv abandoned the project, [[Leobinchill]] took on its development. In October 2026 Leobinchill added the A8, a line going from Milan to Ticino, and after the founding of the town of [[Nostra:Benevia|Benevia]], The SS28 was built connecting it to the Main Line.

The lines "Blue" and "Main" were later renamed to "A4 (Main)" and "E25 (Blue) to better suit the evolution of the project.

=== Origin ===

The iceway was originally created as a personal project of vmsvv. It was originally composed of two lines, the Main Line, going from Piana Piemontese to Ticino, and the blue line, going from the former station of Line Interchange to Padania/Benevo.

The first station reaching a town not part of [[Nostra:Switzerland|Switzerland]], ''Padania/Benevo'', was added after friendly talks between the mayor of [[Nostra:Padania|Padania]], [[Turolatias]], and vmsvv. It was later renamed to ''Padania'' after [[Nostra:Benevo|Benevo]] was disbanded.

On the opposite side, the Blue Line was supposed to reach [[Nostra:Pavia|Pavia]], but the project was abandoned when the main builder of the iceway, vmsvv, left the town of Piana Piemontese to move elsewhere.

=== Expansion ===

After vmsvv abandoned the project, [[Leobinchill]] took on its development. In October 2026 Leobinchill added a line going from Milan to Ticino, and after the founding of the town of [[Nostra:Benevia|Benevia]], a secondary line connecting it to the Main Line.

The lines were later renamed to better suit the evolution of the project.
