== Papal Spaghetti States (PSS) ==
The Papal Spaghetti States is a global nation that was is based off of the religion of Spaghettism. It utilizes a holy order to organize its government ranks, and thus is a theocratic nation.

This holy order goes, in order from top to bottom:
# Pope
# High Cardinal
# Cardinal
# Bishop
# Priest
# Follower
While this order is mostly accurate, the Pope controls the religious part of the nation, but politically plays the role of a Cardinal. Traditionally, a High Cardinal will take the role of "Leader of State", who controls the majority of external relations, and leads the nation forward as a whole. The council of High Cardinals, supported by a band of Cardinals, assists the Leader of State in making his or her decisions.

The nation itself is able to use the population to hold votes using the nation's discord server, so for various issues the population will decide rather than the leader.

The standing military is currently known as "Thot Patrol".

== History ==

=== October 2017 ===
The town of Graham peacefully seceded from Canada on 10/15. The following day, border negotiations were planned, and a stable alliance was achieved with Canada. Within this time, the nation developed ties to Mughal, Jing, and Spain.

On 10/16, Graham was attacked by the town of Fiji, of New Zealand. Fiji was not attacking on behalf of New Zealand, but rather against the will of their own nation. LexiBoppers, the squad leader of the attack, was trapped, and the rest of the attackers retreated.

On 10/20, the Russian town of Canberk was recruited as the first official town to join the nation (the town of Tibesti of Africa lacked the 2 citizens necessary to join a nation). On the same day, the nation of NATO adopted Spaghettism, and thus an alliance was achieved between the two nations.

The West Coast Collapse (Classic)

2017-10-21T04:28:05Z

2601:645:1:8F40:605B:86CD:ADA:B4B9:

The West Coast Collapse was the fall of the major towns of the Western United States mainly during early October of 2017

== Fallen Towns ==
[[File:West Coast Collapse.JPG|thumb|220x220px]]
* Vancouver (August 2017)
* California (1 Oct 2017)
* Phoenix (1 Oct 2017)
* Palouse (5 Oct 2017)

== Reasons for the Collapse ==
Vancouver, the first town to fall and the foreshadowing of what was coming, had become inactive since the days of Praxis. The city had been established before Canada was a nation, and many Canadian towns claimed outposts in the area. With the banning of GuardedCharlie in September of 2017, California, which consisted of mainly inactive players, was doomed to eventually fall. On the first day of October, it finally did. With it, JamessV of Phoenix, who had been in constant conflict with GuardedCharlie, decided that the Western US was no longer a fitting place to live. With the collapse of his nation, Republic of the Mojave Desert (RMD), James accordingly moved to Canada. Finally, mell0 jell0 of Palouse had become increasingly inactive since the Praxis days, and was no longer interested in the server. the towns of Fort_Salt_Lake and Adrian have also been inactive and are poised to collapse as of 5 Oct 2017.

== Consequences ==
As a result, the nations of the surrounding area quickly moved in. Canada was the first to stake a claim in California, with several Canadian towns involved; Graham claiming the most major skyscraper of the city, and staking claim to northern California. Nevada of Canada claimed the other large tower. AlaskanEmpire, lead by Nino and iKillac, raided Phoenix and sacked California's claim in Florida. When Palouse fell, Canada once again was the first to claim the area. Prestige Imperium (PI) quickly followed in California but failed to establish any major claims on the west coast. In Florida, Optiv swept in to claim Florida but was soon banned for xray. FrankUnderwood attempted to establish his nation's capital, New_Virmuni, in the ruins of California, but was pressured to move elsewhere. He still has an outpost there to this day.

In a more positive light, a massive region has been opened to settlement. Both Canada and PI have expressed interest in the Continental United States, while Mexico has claimed the Baja.
