==Overview==

[[The Great War]]}}This war is between [[Later Jing Dynasty|Jing]] and Jing's ally [[Canada]] against [[Japan]]. Tensions were rising between Jing and Japan; Jing decided to create a city in Japan after Japan's mass expansion into Tibet and mainland China. This angered Japan and, on top of Japanese hatred for Jing, shortly after, the Japanese Emperor Lucas2011 declared war against Jing. Jing removed the city that was named "Brasov" before Japanese troops could attack again after the Jing smashed the Japanese troops in the first battle. The Japanese army lead by MineHero43 charged to the city of Chinatown; which started the second battle of the war.

This could be an ultimate test of whether the other "Axis" powers of [[Germany]] and [[Spain]] follow the lead of Japan, or whether that alliance will disintegrate.

=== The Seige of Brasov ===
After Japan invaded Brasov, when all of Jing but the new mayor was on they killed the mayor. Soon though, Keenno90 and Proda/Waqit came on and protected the town which is why Japan declared war on Jing, Japan, disagrees with this but all of the world knows the truth , which is this:
"That explains why your men ran in the Tokyo. It was me, Duskav and Proda. They attacked us, and as a result we fought back. Wow! I never thought fighting back was an act of war! Next time, I'll let myself die. Not to mention, Lucas attacked me on discord saying 'I was trying to be peaceful". Gotta love ya Japanese peaceful spirit!" - Keenno90.
The Jing government decided to move the town, as any expansion would be limited.

=== The Siege of Chinatown ===
Japan then assaulted a town called "Chinatown" that is located in China. The assault was lead by MineHero43. Jing forces defended the town against the onslaught. Two Jingian militiamen and one civilian were killed in the fighting and soldiers on both sides suffered wounded. Chinatown was in chaos and the Japanese were pushing deeper in the town. In reaction of this, Jing forces retreated from Chinatown; making the first battle of the Sino-Japanese war a Stalemate. Soon after the battle, the Japanese named the assault "The Siege of Chinatown."

After the [[Battle of Sorong]] he was banned for 3 days for Major Grief. After some investigation by the staff team they found out SlyPrince had been duplicating gold. This resulted in a permanent ban. The whole community of Japan pretty much followed SlyPrince here from the other server and all continually push for SlyPrince to be unbanned, even though Mods stated that due to SlyPrince's actions of breaking the rules with dupe, greif, and many alts, he will not be unbanned.

Just one day after SlyPrince was perm banned a player named MrMomus logged on and made a town in Japan. He was equally as political as SlyPrince and clearly thought highly of him and knew a lot about him despite the fact he never met SlyPrince. The New Era (Classic)

Timeframe: Mid June 2017-1 Oct 2017

This era saw the end of the second order of nations. During this time, many of the nations founded in late 2016 and early 2017 met their end. Toxicity was curbed by the actions of staff, improving the server experience overall. This era saw the first attempts at border agreements, civilizations founded in new areas such as the Middle East and India, and a complete political re-ordering with the fall of PWW.

A major event within the server was when the mega city of Seaterrica fell. This event is still regarded as a major event in EarthMC history as it would eventually lead to many nations being formed from it. Many players today remember once being in Seaterrica as Seaterrica had recruited 140 people by the time of its fall. Shortly after Seaterrica fell, Tortugas fell which ended the large war at that time which had claimed the lives of hundreds.

The end of the Era saw many changes in the world,the fall of Persia, of Egypt, of Germany, of Czecho-Yisrael, and of California. New towns and nations were formed also, AlaskanEmpire being an important one in the future. Europe by the end only had two power worth mentioning, Spain and Nazi_Germany. Nazi_Germany could bring a large force when needed but was not too active which left Spain as the only European super-power. The Middle-East after the fall of Czecho-Yisrael and the original Persia was lacking any form of regional nation and quickly fell prey to nations like Egypt, USSR, and PI. India had nothing and remained completely uninhabitied until the very end of the Era.

The Era of Patience (Classic)

This era started on January 25, 2018 (210 AC), and is the 2nd era of the Third Epoch. It was started after the collapse of two important nations, Britain and Germany, these collapses though appeared major at the time were in retrospect minor, with both resurrecting very soon.

During the first part of this time (Jan 25 - Feb 23) Toxicity reached an all-time low. All truly toxic players were banned or changed their behavior. Russia rapidly became the new power followed by Spain, with Canada declining. Negotiations in Geopolitics were common by now, involving many players that had only recently joined. Major conflict "hot spots" changed from the traditional Europe to the Pacific, with the rise of the "Axis powers" and Hong Kong. However, the major powers of the server were unusually peaceful and somewhat isolationist during this time, interacting with other nations only if attacked. For some the first part of this Period (From January 25 to February 6) was considered another Golden Age.

During the later period (Feb 23-May 30) toxicity started growing again, mostly in Asia, with Japan and [[SlyPrince]] causing many wars and angering many, even launching continuous threats against the oldest nation on the server, [[Later Jing Dynasty|Jing]]. This cooled down when SlyPrince was banned after an interlude of peace the Kerala War broke out, becoming a global conflict and did much to change international opinion of Japan. Lantau, the aggressor seemed unstable but stayed together until the end of the war, when it promptly fell apart. The Kerala War defined the later period among the largest nations, but among those not involved the later period was peaceful. After the Kerala War more, usually minor wars broke out. Seaterrica continued their attacks on Japan and NewLantau battled Lantau. Japan continued to gain power and became ever more prominent. A few major greifs occurred, one at Auckland and later on in Seaterrica. The greif at Auckland was caused by a non-affilitated player while the Seaterrica greif was done by a Japanese, not helping relations between the two. Most of these events were concentrated in Asia or the Americas, Europe was quiet after the Kerala War and Africa continued to unify under the [[Union of Eden]], growing to become a major power although took a neutral stance and although powerful in population it does not act like a first world nation. Spain and Canada again agreed to a treaty and relations cooled somewhat.

The Era of Patience (Classic)

This era started on January 25, 2018 (210 AC), and is the 2nd era of the Third Epoch. It was started after the collapse of two important nations, Britain and Germany, these collapses though appeared major at the time were in retrospect minor, with both resurrecting very soon.

During the first part of this time (Jan 25 - Feb 23) Toxicity reached an all-time low. All truly toxic players were banned or changed their behavior. Russia rapidly became the new power followed by Spain, with Canada declining. Negotiations in Geopolitics were common by now, involving many players that had only recently joined. Major conflict "hot spots" changed from the traditional Europe to the Pacific, with the rise of the "Axis powers" and Hong Kong. However, the major powers of the server were unusually peaceful and somewhat isolationist during this time, interacting with other nations only if attacked. For some the first part of this Period (From January 25 to February 6) was considered another Golden Age.

During the later period (Feb 23-May 30) toxicity started growing again, mostly in Asia, with Japan and [[SlyPrince]] causing many wars and angering many, even launching continuous threats against the oldest nation on the server, [[Later Jing Dynasty|Jing]]. This cooled down when SlyPrince was banned after an interlude of peace the Kerala War broke out, becoming a global conflict and did much to change international opinion of Japan. Lantau, the aggressor seemed unstable but stayed together until the end of the war, when it promptly fell apart. The Kerala War defined the later period among the largest nations, but among those not involved the later period was peaceful. After the Kerala War more, usually minor wars broke out. Seaterrica continued their attacks on Japan and NewLantau battled Lantau. Japan continued to gain power and became ever more prominent. A few major greifs occurred, one at Auckland and later on in Seaterrica. The greif at Auckland was caused by a non-affilitated player while the Seaterrica greif was done by a Japanese, not helping relations between the two. Most of these events were concentrated in Asia or the Americas, Europe was quiet after the Kerala War and Africa continued to unify under the [[Union of Eden]], growing to become a major power although took a neutral stance and although powerful in population it does not act like a first world nation. Spain and Canada again agreed to a treaty and relations cooled somewhat.

Japan continues growing. And continual war and toxicity drive many from the server.
