The War of the One, also known as the Iran-Orthinia War is one of the longest conflicts in all of EMC Aurora history. It's name is derived from the Cult of the One, which was established by the mayor of New Orthinia and used as a means to expand New Orthinian territory and lead conquests around Iran's lands.

In the early days of the server, the land of Iran was sparsely inhabited save for a few towns, one of the earliest of which being Apanistan, a coastal settlement. With the rising threat of the Babylonian Empire to the West, the town of Apanistan united with a few other towns in Iran and established the town of Sepahan in Central Iran. These towns would form the Council of Iran, lead by the elected king mk1392.

Eventually the Babylonian Empire would attempt to invade Iran and subjugate the town of Apanistan and Sepahan, alongside the Council of Iran, after a period of turmoil and betrayal within the Council. This resulted in the [[War of the Six Banners]].

'''Caspian''' is a large nation located in Southern-Central Asia, with some claims stretching to Afghanistan and northern Caucasia. Caspian is led by Emissary [[MrX_1208]] , the nation's first and only leader thus far. Caspian is a member of the Levantine Pact alliance. It is also a founding member of the New Orthinian Dynasty.

== History ==

It was formed on the 17th of October, 2023, by MrX_1208, by the handing down of the Armenian government to the leadership of New Orthinia, following the Martuni crisis.
The crisis was spurred by the loss of the Armenian town of Martuni, which lied at the crossroads nearby the Armenian capital of Shushi. Martuni was a town used to claim chunks that couldn’t be claimed by Shushi, but it eventually fell after the mayor stopped playing. The Armenian government had become a shell of its former self, suffering defeats in their war with Persia and losing towns left and right, but the loss of Martuni was the straw that broke the metaphorical camel’s back for many. Most members began losing their confidence in the government as a result. Now with no other solution to turn to, Armenia granted control of what remained of their nation to the user MrX_1208, which subsequently formed the Caspian Realm as a result.

Caspian was disbanded on February 2, 2025, by Tavi after the Persian-Crusader campaign which largely overclaimed the nation's capital, New Orthinia. The town was completely taken over when it was put on sale, in a hasty attempt to change leadership. However, this was intercepted by Tavi and Huxf.

== Government ==
Caspian is a unitary state run by the Emissary, a quasi-theocratic absolute ruler, and a council of ministers. Each minister covers a certain aspect of the nation where they specialize and answers to the head of state for guidance within their sectors. Whilst there is an official governmental congress, it doesn’t truly exist yet, as there is no true reason to have it as of now.

The nation is split up into three districts: The Capitol district, which includes New Orthinia and the contiguous area surrounding it. The Volga Delta district consists of the three settlements: Solec Kujawski and Lemon Empire. The Frontier district which is the largest and least populated area consisting of the three settlements: Orchallia Inc, Kerman, and Veno.

== Relations ==
The overall foreign policy of the nation is one of neutrality. Put simply: they like to keep to themselves, but they are willing to work with other nations should the need arise. That being said, the nation is a part of multiple organizations/alliances, with the most recent addition being the Middle Eastern Strategic Alliance (M.E.S.A).
The Caspian Realm has friendly relations with nations like the Pahlavi Dynasty, Israel, Turkey, and Homorzghan.
Of course, whilst they’d prefer not to have enemies, regardless, some nations are less than amenable to them. The likes of Persia (not to be confused with Imperial Persia/Pahlavi Dynasty) and Kushan have an unfriendly history with Caspian. The nation has a weary attitude about war and seeks to avoid conflict whenever possible. However, they can, have, and will fight if the situation comes to it.

The nation is made up of nineteen (De Facto) towns/settlements: Nedia, Sofiya, Chime Springs, Reservoir Ridge, New Orthinia, Solec Kujawski, Kerman, Veno, Meadowshire, Meredith, Alamut, Meerkat, Sarab, Orchallia Inc, Astarakh, Vault-29, Carrion Crest, Lemon Empire, and Muffinistan. New Orthinia is the capital, largest, and oldest city in the country.

Middle East War II, or Second Middle Eastern War, also known as the Turco-Persian War, and MEW2 was a conflict on Aurora which spanned across the entirety of the Middle East and included almost every nation within the region, making it one of the bloodiest wars in the history of Aurora. The war officially started on June 8, 2023 when Fiji, the Sultan of Turkey, declared total war on the nation of Hungary with the intent of conquest, specifying that the war could be ended if Hungary would cede all towns to the Turkish Empire. The general consensus on the end date of the war is September 25, 2023, when Fix announced that overclaim was being added to the game. Though peace has not yet been made between the three belligerents, it was clear that all nations had to abandon the fronts and secure their homelands.

While it is not directly connected to the [[Middle East War]], many of the fronts and claims in MEW2 were established as a result of that war.

==Prelude==
===Formation of Levantine Pact===
On January 25, 2023, the nations of Israel, Egypt, and Phoenicia came together to found the Levantine Pact under the leadership of Jabesb, Lumpeeh, and Ave2k. The main goal of this pact was to create a mutual military alliance in the Levant, and to quell rising fears regarding Kushan.

===Formation of the Persian Empire===
On March 30, 2023, after failed attempts with other nations to create the Middle Eastern Federation, Grass Miner, the Prime Minister of Kushan, and Sepraf, the Prime Minister of Iran, united the two nations to form the Persian Empire. An announcement was made by Grass Miner where he highlighted the borders of the newly found empire. Saudi Arabia, which was afraid of being conquered by the Himyars for its past alliance with the Turan Pact and Persian Empire, decided to denounce Persia and rejected their invitation. On April 1, the Persian Empire declared war on the Arab puppet states which were under the influence of the Himyarite Kingdom. By the 12th of April, Saudi Arabia joined the Persian Empire and by the 22nd Kuwait was annexed. The Himyars themselves would join Persia by May 2, 2023 thus ending the Himyar war, and allowing Persia to focus on other regions.

===Return of Tavi===
After being executed and disappearing from the server for months, Tavi was revived on May 20, 2023. He was immediately appointed as the King of Kushan by Nir, who would quit EMC. He also replaced Grass Miner as a Co-Emperor of Persia. The return of Tavi increased world tensions due to his hyper military focus as well as his tendency to lead global military alliances.

===Formation of UMC===
On April 6, 2023, the United Military Coalition was announced by Tavi. Its purpose was to act as a joint defense initiative, and to create a global military pact.

===Turco-Persian Tensions===
Before the war officially began, there was a great amount of tensions between the Turkish and Persian Empires. The Iranians were at war with the Timurid nomads, who were sent from Turkey to settle into East Iran. Furthermore, the Turks were threatened by the rapidly increasing influence and size of the Persian Empire.

===Invasion of Hungary===
On June 8, 2023, Fiji announced that Turkey was declaring war on Hungary for the purpose of conquering their towns. He added that the war could be avoided if Hungary surrendered all of its towns to the Turkish Empire. Following this announcement, Kosovo, Timor, and James Bay declared their support for Turkey, Albania also immediately declared war on Hungary following Turkey.

The UMC, Austria, Don Host, Bolivar, Tyrol, Moldavia, and Poland declared their support for Hungary. Within the same day, James Bay switched support after pressure from Armenia. The Swiss Confederation declared neutrality.

==The War==
===First Contact===
The beginning of the war was a period of extreme uncertainty for the Persian Empire, which was the current head of the UMC. Due to past problems with Turkey, it was suspected that Fiji intended on fighting a war against the Persian Empire in an attempt to prevent them from gaining more influence and power on the global stage.

===Frontline Establishment===
As a result of extended fighting, certain fronts would be established alongside borders. The main fronts were the Syrian Front, the Caucasian Front, and the Levantine Front. There were also minor fronts, such as the South Arab front, and the Timurid front.

==The Caucasian Front==
===Kurdish Invasion of Turkey===
On June 17, 2023, Chicko, the leader of Kurdistan, returned with an army and invaded Turkish borders then declared war on them. This action immediately caused Ave, the leader of Phoenicia, to kick Kurdistan from the Levantine Pact. Turkey announced the same day that the Kurdish declaration of war would be rejected and Kurdistan was not recognized as a state. Although recognizing its sovereignty, The Persian Empire, would redeclare war on Kurdistan to make it clear that Chicko must still pay for his past crimes against Iran. Despite this, no battles would take place between the Persian Empire and Kurdistan throughout the war.

On June 20, Chicko lead an expedition deep into Turkey with his army which resulted in the deaths of two Turks who in total dropped two nether sets and three nether swords. Later on July 4, the town of Cubuk was founded by the Kurds during an uprising in the province, with the aid of BNDC, after three days of defending it from Turkish forces. The battle took place between 5 Kurds and allies with diamond sets and 20 Turks, 18 of which wearing netherite, and two of which equipped in diamond gear.

On July 8, the city of Hakkari would be annexed by Kurdistan, the city was located south of Van, making it extremely strategic for pushing Turks away from the Persian borders.

===Armenian Provocations===
Another major power located in the Caucasian front was the [[Aurora:Armenia|Republic of Armenia]], a nation which was not friendly with either the Persian Empire or Turkey. After the Crusader Deal succeeded and the Crusader States were integrated into the Persian Empire on June 20, 2023, President LovelyFurball immediately declared that Armenia no longer recognized the legitimacy of the Crusader States. He cited that the old king WakePVP did not wish for EmulationNerd, the new ruler, to align with any powers in the Middle East or to join any meganations. LovelyFurball also stated that Armenia would shelter all dissenters, and even incorporated some towns into its nation. This would bring Armenia into the Levantine Front.

===Annexation of Tabriz and Urmia===
After pressure from the Iranian forces, and the leadership change in Turkey, Fiji called for all of his most loyal ministers to follow him to Spain, one of whom being Lach. After contacting Iran, Sepraf and Tavi began to set in motion plans to acquire the strategic town of Tabriz, which stretched across Lake Urmia. On July 27, 2023, the town was surrendered to Iran and annexed within the Persian Empire, the loot within it went to Kushan, while the town was given to Reewee, an Iranian minister.

By July 2, 2023, the town of Urmia, neighboring Tabriz, also decided to join Iran and abandon Turkey, thus fully securing Iran's northern front and completely annexing Lake Urmia. The Tabriz lands on the Western side of Lake Urmia would be unclaimed and Urmia would claim them.

===Seven Day Plan - Armenia===
Fed up with Armenian intervention, Persia decided to employ its Seven Day Doctrine against Armenia. This military strategy was devised by Tavi and Sepraf, and the goal of this form of combat is to achieve a significant military victory every single day for a week against a targeted nation.

On August 15, 2023, the first day of the plan took place. The town of Shushi, the second most important and oldest town in Armenia, was infiltrated by Tavi himself. The town was completely looted of all valuables, including dozens of heads, armor sets, weapons, gold, and artifacts. Armenian military plans to sow dissent in Cascadia were also discovered and stolen. However, as soon as LovelyFurball found out, he arranged for dirt blocks to be placed all around Shushi's spawn and immediately reported to the moderators that Tavi griefed the town, which got Tavi temp banned. This ban was considered a victory for the Armenians as they were able to temporarily gain a break from Tavi and have moderators on their side, despite their dishonest tactics.

On August 16, the second day, the main focus of the Persian Empire had become to prove Tavi's innocence. Tavi opened a moderator ticket and proved that he only took valuables, to which the mods agreed and rolled back his temp ban. This ended up dealing a massive blow to Armenian morale as their only victory from the Shushi disaster was temporarily getting Tavi out of the picture.

With Tavi back, the 17th was a day of yet another series of lootings, this time in the town of Alexandropol. Tavi once again infiltrated the town and managed to steal chests full of valuables. After the third day of the Seven Day Plan, the focus increased from looting and sporadic strikes, to full on conquest.

===Fall of Armenia===
On August 18, 2023, the Armenian town of Sevan was infiltrated by Persian forces and subsequently added to the Persian Empire. The town's conquest proved to be extremely beneficial because not only did it connect to Urmia and Iran, but it also completely separated East and West Armenia dealing a major blow to LovelyFurball's presidency and isolating their capital. Later that night, LovelyFurball transferred the nation of Armenia to the town of New Orthinia, who abolished Armenia and created the nation of [[Caspian]]. The capital of Yerevan was also given to Membolek before LovelyFurball fled Armenia. New Orthinia, now being independent of Israel, drew the attention of the Persian Empire which declared war on it. However, the Persians still continued their 7 day assault on the remaining Armenian towns.

Crippled from the desertion of their president, on August 19, the town of Martuni, neighboring Shushi, the capital of Eastern Armenia, fell to the Persian siege. The Persian town of Astara expanded its front straight into the ruins of Martuni, also preventing Northern Turkish forces from sweeping any deeper into the Caucasus. After this defeat it was clear that the Republic of Armenia would never be reestablished. This would also conclude the Seven Day Plan, as Armenia was not able to withstand the assault.

===Fall of Kurdistan===
With the death of Chicko, the next de facto leader of Kurdistan was Theboss474747. However, his reign would not last long since he announced on September 22, 2023 that he was selling the town of Amed. He also denounced Chicko and said he sucked as a leader. Persia offered 800 gold for the town, however it was ultimately sold to Turkey after they offered 2,000 gold for the town and nation, thus officially ending Kurdistan.

==The Levantine Front==
===Seven Day Plan - Israel===
Planning on using the Seven Day Doctrine against Israel, a key member of the Levantine Pact, and the lifeline of the New Orthinia colony, Tavi and Sepraf started gathering intelligence on all the weak points of the Nation and its towns.

===South Sinai Conquest===
On July 11, 2023, the second day of the Seven Day Plan, Operation Ancient Orthinia was executed. After the Israeli town of Tayran fell, the surrounding Persian and Crusader siege began its advance. However, Egyptian forces immediately marched South from their Northern Sinai territories, causing the Battle of South Sinai to ensue. After an extended period of combat and claiming. The Persian town of Ancient Orthinia was finally established. However, the Egyptians, utilizing a claim arm strategy, were able to prevent Persia from going any further North (this would be rolled back by the moderators on June 23, and the stolen chunks were awarded to Persia). This expansion not only dealt a blow to Israel, but also exposed a weakness in Egypt now that the Crusader States had an opening into Africa. This forced Egypt to adopt a defensive plan moving forward, and ensured they would not directly be able to reenter the Levantine Front for the remainder of the war.

==Last Days==
===Turco-Levantine Alliance===
On September 19, 2023, MK227, the inheritor of Phoenicia, announced that not only were relations reestablished with Turkey, but that Turkey would join the Levantine Pact. On September 21, the Seljuk Empire joined the Levantine Pact, however, LovelyFurball prevented an announcement from being made on TBI since the Pact itself was not informed on their recruitment. On September 26, the Ilkhanate would join the Levantine Pact. However, the mass recruitment of Turkic nations would have unforeseen consequences for the Pact.

==Aftermath==
===Decline of the Levantine Pact===
After the war, the Levantine Pact, which was now oversaturated with Turkic nations, saw the recruitment of Cascadia on October 2, 2023. MK227 stated that he hoped the Levantine Pact would be able to defend from the Persian Empire with the new addition. On October 22, LovelyFurball announced that The Mojave Republic joined the Pact.

Two days later, on October 24, Egypt announced its departure from the Pact, stating that it was no longer supporting the interests of Egypt and the entirety of the Middle East. NeFFeeh specified that the Pact no longer serves defensive purposes for keeping peace, and has rather turned into a hate club against Kushan. It was also specified that no one in the alliance trusted each other which made it primordial.

On October 25, Somali followed suite and abandoned the Pact while denouncing the actions of Phoenicia. 8set stated that Ave2k and MK227 started conflict between Somali and Phoenicia, specifying that the alliance was dead and if further aggressions continue, greater measures would be pursued. Somali also stated that they were dissatisfied with the addition of enemy nations within the pact without consultation. Phoenicia immediately responded by leaving the Levantine Pact as well and saying it had turned into a cesspool, also specifying they maintained respect with Turkey and Israel. This would make Israel the last founding member of the Levantine Pact to remain in it.

On October 28, Iowa left the Levantine Pact, but mentioned they would still remain in the Turan Pact. This was the final time the Levantine Pact was mentioned on TBI, thus rendering it effectively dead.

Although recognizing its sovereignty, The Persian Empire, would redeclare war on Kurdistan to make it clear that Chicko must still pay for his past crimes against Iran. Despite this, no battles would take place between the Persian Empire and Kurdistan throughout the war.

On June 20, Chicko lead an expedition deep into Turkey with his army which resulted in the deaths of two Turks who in total dropped two nether sets and three nether swords. Later on July 4, the town of Cubuk was founded by the Kurds during an uprising in the province, with the aid of BNDC, after three days of defending it from Turkish forces. The battle took place between 5 Kurds and allies with diamond sets and 20 Turks, 18 of which wearing netherite, and two of which equipped in diamond gear.

On July 8, the city of Hakkari would be annexed by Kurdistan, the city was located south of Van, making it extremely strategic for pushing Turks away from the Persian borders.

===Armenian Provocations===
Another major power located in the Caucasian front was the [[Aurora:Armenia|Republic of Armenia]], a nation which was not friendly with either the Persian Empire or Turkey. After the Crusader Deal succeeded and the Crusader States were integrated into the Persian Empire on June 20, 2023, President LovelyFurball immediately declared that Armenia no longer recognized the legitimacy of the Crusader States. He cited that the old king WakePVP did not wish for EmulationNerd, the new ruler, to align with any powers in the Middle East or to join any meganations. LovelyFurball also stated that Armenia would shelter all dissenters, and even incorporated some towns into its nation. This would bring Armenia into the Levantine Front.

===Annexation of Tabriz and Urmia===
After pressure from the Iranian forces, and the leadership change in Turkey, Fiji called for all of his most loyal ministers to follow him to Spain, one of whom being Lach. After contacting Iran, Sepraf and Tavi began to set in motion plans to acquire the strategic town of Tabriz, which stretched across Lake Urmia. On July 27, 2023, the town was surrendered to Iran and annexed within the Persian Empire, the loot within it went to Kushan, while the town was given to Reewee, an Iranian minister.

By July 2, 2023, the town of Urmia, neighboring Tabriz, also decided to join Iran and abandon Turkey, thus fully securing Iran's northern front and completely annexing Lake Urmia. The Tabriz lands on the Western side of Lake Urmia would be unclaimed and Urmia would claim them.

===Seven Day Plan - Armenia===
Fed up with Armenian intervention, Persia decided to employ its Seven Day Doctrine against Armenia. This military strategy was devised by Tavi and Sepraf, and the goal of this form of combat is to achieve a significant military victory every single day for a week against a targeted nation.

On August 15, 2023, the first day of the plan took place. The town of Shushi, the second most important and oldest town in Armenia, was infiltrated by Tavi himself. The town was completely looted of all valuables, including dozens of heads, armor sets, weapons, gold, and artifacts. Armenian military plans to sow dissent in Cascadia were also discovered and stolen. However, as soon as LovelyFurball found out, he arranged for dirt blocks to be placed all around Shushi's spawn and immediately reported to the moderators that Tavi griefed the town, which got Tavi temp banned. This ban was considered a victory for the Armenians as they were able to temporarily gain a break from Tavi and have moderators on their side, despite their dishonest tactics.

On August 16, the second day, the main focus of the Persian Empire had become to prove Tavi's innocence. Tavi opened a moderator ticket and proved that he only took valuables, to which the mods agreed and rolled back his temp ban. This ended up dealing a massive blow to Armenian morale as their only victory from the Shushi disaster was temporarily getting Tavi out of the picture.

With Tavi back, the 17th was a day of yet another series of lootings, this time in the town of Alexandropol. Tavi once again infiltrated the town and managed to steal chests full of valuables. After the third day of the Seven Day Plan, the focus increased from looting and sporadic strikes, to full on conquest.

===Fall of Armenia===
On August 18, 2023, the Armenian town of Sevan was infiltrated by Persian forces and subsequently added to the Persian Empire. The town's conquest proved to be extremely beneficial because not only did it connect to Urmia and Iran, but it also completely separated East and West Armenia dealing a major blow to LovelyFurball's presidency and isolating their capital. Later that night, LovelyFurball transferred the nation of Armenia to the town of New Orthinia, who abolished Armenia and created the nation of [[Caspian]]. The capital of Yerevan was also given to Membolek before LovelyFurball fled Armenia. New Orthinia, now being independent of Israel, drew the attention of the Persian Empire which declared war on it. However, the Persians still continued their 7 day assault on the remaining Armenian towns.

Crippled from the desertion of their president, on August 19, the town of Martuni, neighboring Shushi, the capital of Eastern Armenia, fell to the Persian siege. The Persian town of Astara expanded its front straight into the ruins of Martuni, also preventing Northern Turkish forces from sweeping any deeper into the Caucasus. After this defeat it was clear that the Republic of Armenia would never be reestablished. This would also conclude the Seven Day Plan, as Armenia was not able to withstand the assault.

===Fall of Kurdistan===
With the death of Chicko, the next de facto leader of Kurdistan was Theboss474747. However, his reign would not last long since he announced on September 22, 2023 that he was selling the town of Amed. He also denounced Chicko and said he sucked as a leader. Persia offered 800 gold for the town, however it was ultimately sold to Turkey after they offered 2,000 gold for the town and nation, thus officially ending Kurdistan.

==The Levantine Front==

Planning on using the Seven Day Doctrine against Israel, a key member of the Levantine Pact, and the lifeline of the New Orthinia colony, Tavi and Sepraf started gathering intelligence on all the weak points of the Nation and its towns.

===South Sinai Conquest===
On July 11, 2023, the second day of the Seven Day Plan, Operation Ancient Orthinia was executed. After the Israeli town of Tayran fell, the surrounding Persian and Crusader siege began its advance. However, Egyptian forces immediately marched South from their Northern Sinai territories, causing the Battle of South Sinai to ensue. After an extended period of combat and claiming. The Persian town of Ancient Orthinia was finally established. However, the Egyptians, utilizing a claim arm strategy, were able to prevent Persia from going any further North (this would be rolled back by the moderators on June 23, and the stolen chunks were awarded to Persia). This expansion not only dealt a blow to Israel, but also exposed a weakness in Egypt now that the Crusader States had an opening into Africa. This forced Egypt to adopt a defensive plan moving forward, and ensured they would not directly be able to reenter the Levantine Front for the remainder of the war.

==Last Days==

On September 19, 2023, MK227, the inheritor of Phoenicia, announced that not only were relations reestablished with Turkey, but that Turkey would join the Levantine Pact. On September 21, the Seljuk Empire joined the Levantine Pact, however, LovelyFurball prevented an announcement from being made on TBI since the Pact itself was not informed on their recruitment. On September 26, the Ilkhanate would join the Levantine Pact. However, the mass recruitment of Turkic nations would have unforeseen consequences for the Pact.

==Aftermath==

After the war, the Levantine Pact, which was now oversaturated with Turkic nations, saw the recruitment of Cascadia on October 2, 2023. MK227 stated that he hoped the Levantine Pact would be able to defend from the Persian Empire with the new addition. On October 22, LovelyFurball announced that The Mojave Republic joined the Pact.

Two days later, on October 24, Egypt announced its departure from the Pact, stating that it was no longer supporting the interests of Egypt and the entirety of the Middle East. NeFFeeh specified that the Pact no longer serves defensive purposes for keeping peace, and has rather turned into a hate club against Kushan. It was also specified that no one in the alliance trusted each other which made it primordial.

On October 25, Somali followed suite and abandoned the Pact while denouncing the actions of Phoenicia. 8set stated that Ave2k and MK227 started conflict between Somali and Phoenicia, specifying that the alliance was dead and if further aggressions continue, greater measures would be pursued. Somali also stated that they were dissatisfied with the addition of enemy nations within the pact without consultation. Phoenicia immediately responded by leaving the Levantine Pact as well and saying it had turned into a cesspool, also specifying they maintained respect with Turkey and Israel. This would make Israel the last founding member of the Levantine Pact to remain in it.

On October 28, Iowa left the Levantine Pact, but mentioned they would still remain in the Turan Pact. This was the final time the Levantine Pact was mentioned on TBI, thus rendering it effectively dead.

Middle East War II, or Second Middle Eastern War, also known as the Turco-Persian War, and MEW2 was a conflict on Aurora which spanned across the entirety of the Middle East and included almost every nation within the region, making it one of the bloodiest wars in the history of Aurora. The war officially started on June 8, 2023 when Fiji, the Sultan of Turkey, declared total war on the nation of Hungary with the intent of conquest, specifying that the war could be ended if Hungary would cede all towns to the Turkish Empire. The general consensus on the end date of the war is September 25, 2023, when Fix announced that overclaim was being added to the game. Though peace has not yet been made between the three belligerents, it was clear that all nations had to abandon the fronts and secure their homelands.

==Prelude==
===Formation of Levantine Pact===
On January 25, 2023, the nations of Israel, Egypt, and Phoenicia came together to found the Levantine Pact under the leadership of Jabesb, Lumpeeh, and Ave2k. The main goal of this pact was to create a mutual military alliance in the Levant, and to quell rising fears regarding Kushan.

===Formation of the Persian Empire===
On March 30, 2023, after failed attempts with other nations to create the Middle Eastern Federation, Grass Miner, the Prime Minister of Kushan, and Sepraf, the Prime Minister of Iran, united the two nations to form the Persian Empire. An announcement was made by Grass Miner where he highlighted the borders of the newly found empire. Saudi Arabia, which was afraid of being conquered by the Himyars for its past alliance with the Turan Pact and Persian Empire, decided to denounce Persia and rejected their invitation. On April 1, the Persian Empire declared war on the Arab puppet states which were under the influence of the Himyarite Kingdom. By the 12th of April, Saudi Arabia joined the Persian Empire and by the 22nd Kuwait was annexed. The Himyars themselves would join Persia by May 2, 2023 thus ending the Himyar war, and allowing Persia to focus on other regions.

===Return of Tavi===
After being executed and disappearing from the server for months, Tavi was revived on May 20, 2023. He was immediately appointed as the King of Kushan by Nir, who would quit EMC. He also replaced Grass Miner as a Co-Emperor of Persia. The return of Tavi increased world tensions due to his hyper military focus as well as his tendency to lead global military alliances.

===Formation of UMC===
On April 6, 2023, the United Military Coalition was announced by Tavi. Its purpose was to act as a joint defense initiative, and to create a global military pact.

===Turco-Persian Tensions===
Before the war officially began, there was a great amount of tensions between the Turkish and Persian Empires. The Turks were outraged at Iran's obtainment of Tabriz. Furthermore, the Iranians were at war with the Timurid nomads, who were sent from Turkey to settle into East Iran.
===Invasion of Hungary===
On June 8, 2023, Fiji announced that Turkey was declaring war on Hungary for the purpose of conquering their towns. He added that the war could be avoided if Hungary surrendered all of its towns to the Turkish Empire. Following this announcement, Kosovo, Timor, and James Bay declared their support for Turkey, Albania also immediately declared war on Hungary following Turkey.

The UMC, Austria, Don Host, Bolivar, Tyrol, Moldavia, and Poland declared their support for Hungary. Within the same day, James Bay switched support after pressure from Armenia. The Swiss Confederation declared neutrality.

However, the Egyptians, utilizing a claim arm strategy, were able to prevent Persia from going any further North (this would be rolled back by the moderators on June 23, and the stolen chunks were awarded to Persia). This expansion not only dealt a blow to Israel, but also exposed a weakness in Egypt now that the Crusader States had an opening into Africa. This forced Egypt to adopt a defensive plan moving forward, and ensured they would not directly be able to reenter the Levantine Front for the remainder of the war.

Two days later, on October 24, Egypt announced its departure from the Pact, stating that it was no longer supporting the interests of Egypt and the entirety of the Middle East. NeFFeeh specified that the Pact no longer serves defensive purposes for keeping peace, and has rather turned into a hate club against Kushan. It was also specified that no one in the alliance trusted each other which made it primordial.

On October 25, Somali followed suite and abandoned the Pact while denouncing the actions of Phoenicia. 8set stated that Ave2k and MK227 started conflict between Somali and Phoenicia, specifying that the alliance was dead and if further aggressions continue, greater measures would be pursued. Somali also stated that they were dissatisfied with the addition of enemy nations within the pact without consultation. Phoenicia immediately responded by leaving the Levantine Pact as well and saying it had turned into a cesspool, also specifying they maintained respect with Turkey and Israel. This would make Israel the last founding member of the Levantine Pact to remain in it.

On October 28, Iowa left the Levantine Pact, but mentioned they would still remain in the Turan Pact. This was the final time the Levantine Pact was mentioned on TBI, thus rendering it effectively dead.

The general consensus on the end date of the war is September 25, 2023, when Fix announced that overclaim was being added to the game. Though peace has not yet been made between the three belligerents, it was clear that all nations had to abandon the fronts and secure their homelands.

===Formation of the Persian Empire===
On March 30, 2023, after failed attempts with other nations to create the Middle Eastern Federation, Grass Miner, the Prime Minister of Kushan, and Sepraf, the Prime Minister of Iran, united the two nations to form the Persian Empire. An announcement was made by Grass Miner where he highlighted the borders of the newly found empire. Saudi Arabia, which was afraid of being conquered by the Himyars for its past alliance with the Turan Pact and Persian Empire, decided to denounce Persia and rejected their invitation. On April 1, the Persian Empire declared war on the Arab puppet states which were under the influence of the Himyarite Kingdom. By the 12th of April, Saudi Arabia joined the Persian Empire and by the 22nd Kuwait was annexed. The Himyars themselves would join Persia by May 2, 2023 thus ending the Himyar war, and allowing Persia to focus on other regions.

===Return of Tavi===
After being executed and disappearing from the server for months, Tavi was revived on May 20, 2023. He was immediately appointed as the King of Kushan by Nir, who would quit EMC. He also replaced Grass Miner as a Co-Emperor of Persia. The return of Tavi increased world tensions due to his hyper military focus as well as his tendency to lead global military alliances.

On April 6, 2023, the United Military Coalition was announced by Tavi. Its purpose was to act as a joint defense initiative, and to create a global military pact.

On June 8, 2023, Fiji announced that Turkey was declaring war on Hungary for the purpose of conquering their towns. He added that the war could be avoided if Hungary surrendered all of its towns to the Turkish Empire. Following this announcement, Kosovo, Timor, and James Bay declared their support for Turkey, Albania also immediately declared war on Hungary following Turkey.

The UMC, Austria, Don Host, Bolivar, Tyrol, Moldavia, and Poland declared their support for Hungary. Within the same day, James Bay switched support after pressure from Armenia. The Swiss Confederation declared neutrality.

On June 17, 2023, Chicko, the leader of Kurdistan, returned with an army and invaded Turkish borders then declared war on them. Turkey announced the same day that the Kurdish declaration of war would be rejected and Kurdistan was not recognized as a state. Although recognizing its sovereignty, The Persian Empire, would redeclare war on Kurdistan to make it clear that Chicko must still pay for his past crimes against Iran. Despite this, no battles would take place between the Persian Empire and Kurdistan throughout the war.

===Armenian Provocations===
Another major power located in the Caucasian front was the [[Aurora:Armenia|Republic of Armenia]], a nation which was not friendly with either the Persian Empire or Turkey. After the Crusader Deal succeeded and the Crusader States were integrated into the Persian Empire on June 20, 2023, President LovelyFurball immediately declared that Armenia no longer recognized the legitimacy of the Crusader States. He cited that the old king WakePVP did not wish for EmulationNerd, the new ruler, to align with any powers in the Middle East or to join any meganations. LovelyFurball also stated that Armenia would shelter all dissenters, and even incorporated some towns into its nation. This would bring Armenia into the Levantine Front.

===Seven Day Plan - Armenia===
Fed up with Armenian intervention, Persia decided to employ its Seven Day Doctrine against Armenia. This military strategy was devised by Tavi and Sepraf, and the goal of this form of combat is to achieve a significant military victory every single day for a week against a targeted nation.

On August 15, 2023, the first day of the plan took place. The town of Shushi, the second most important and oldest town in Armenia, was infiltrated by Tavi himself. The town was completely looted of all valuables, including dozens of heads, armor sets, weapons, gold, and artifacts. Armenian military plans to sow dissent in Cascadia were also discovered and stolen. However, as soon as LovelyFurball found out, he arranged for dirt blocks to be placed all around Shushi's spawn and immediately reported to the moderators that Tavi griefed the town, which got Tavi temp banned. This ban was considered a victory for the Armenians as they were able to temporarily gain a break from Tavi and have moderators on their side, despite their dishonest tactics.

On August 16, the second day, the main focus of the Persian Empire had become to prove Tavi's innocence. Tavi opened a moderator ticket and proved that he only took valuables, to which the mods agreed and rolled back his temp ban. This ended up dealing a massive blow to Armenian morale as their only victory from the Shushi disaster was temporarily getting Tavi out of the picture.

With Tavi back, the 17th was a day of yet another series of lootings, this time in the town of Alexandropol. Tavi once again infiltrated the town and managed to steal chests full of valuables. After the third day of the Seven Day Plan, the focus increased from looting and sporadic strikes, to full on conquest.

However, as soon as LovelyFurball found out, he arranged for dirt blocks to be placed all around Shushi's spawn and immediately reported to the moderators that Tavi griefed the town, which got Tavi temp banned. This ban was considered a victory for the Armenians as they were able to temporarily gain a break from Tavi and have moderators on their side, despite their dishonest tactics.

On August 16, the second day, the main focus of the Persian Empire had become to prove Tavi's innocence. Tavi opened a moderator ticket and proved that he only took valuables, to which the mods agreed and rolled back his temp ban. This ended up dealing a massive blow to Armenian morale as their only victory from the Shushi disaster was temporarily getting Tavi out of the picture.

With Tavi back, the 17th was a day of yet another series of lootings, this time in the town of Alexandropol. Tavi once again infiltrated the town and managed to steal chests full of valuables. The town's conquest proved to be extremely beneficial because not only did it connect to Urmia and Iran, but it also completely separated East and West Armenia dealing a major blow to LovelyFurball's presidency and isolating their capital. Later that night, LovelyFurball transferred the nation of Armenia to the town of New Orthinia, who abolished Armenia and created the nation of [[Caspian]]. The capital of Yerevan was also given to Membolek before LovelyFurball fled Armenia. New Orthinia, now being independent of Israel, drew the attention of the Persian Empire which declared war on it. However, the Persians still continued their 7 day assault on the remaining Armenian towns.

Crippled from the desertion of their president, on August 19, the town of Martuni, neighboring Shushi, the capital of Eastern Armenia, fell to the Persian siege. The Persian town of Astara expanded its front straight into the ruins of Martuni, also preventing Northern Turkish forces from sweeping any deeper into the Caucasus. After this defeat it was clear that the Republic of Armenia would never be reestablished. This would also conclude the Seven Day Plan, as Armenia was not able to withstand the assault.

However, Egyptian forces immediately marched South from their Northern Sinai territories, causing the Battle of South Sinai to ensue. After an extended period of combat and claiming. The Persian town of Ancient Orthinia was finally established. However, the Egyptians, utilizing a claim arm strategy, were able to prevent Persia from going any further North (this would be rolled back by the moderators on June 23, and the stolen chunks were awarded to Persia). This expansion not only dealt a blow to Israel, but also exposed a weakness in Egypt now that the Crusader States had an opening into Africa. This forced Egypt to adopt a defensive plan moving forward, and ensured they would not directly be able to reenter the Levantine Front for the remainder of the war.

It was also specified that no one in the alliance trusted each other which made it primordial.

On October 25, Somali followed suite and abandoned the Pact while denouncing the actions of Phoenicia. 8set stated that Ave2k and MK227 started conflict between Somali and Phoenicia, specifying that the alliance was dead and if further aggressions continue, greater measures would be pursued. Somali also stated that they were dissatisfied with the addition of enemy nations within the pact without consultation. This would make Israel the last founding member of the Levantine Pact to remain in it.

Saudi Arabia, which was afraid of being conquered by the Himyars for its past alliance with the Turan Pact and Persian Empire, decided to denounce Persia and rejected their invitation. On April 1, the Persian Empire declared war on the Arab puppet states which were under the influence of the Himyarite Kingdom. By the 12th of April, Saudi Arabia joined the Persian Empire and by the 22nd Kuwait was annexed. The Himyars themselves would join Persia by May 2, 2023 thus ending the Himyar war, and allowing Persia to focus on other regions.

After being executed and disappearing from the server for months, Tavi was revived on May 20, 2023. He was immediately appointed as the King of Kushan by Nir, who would quit EMC. He also replaced Grass Miner as a Co-Emperor of Persia. The return of Tavi increased world tensions due to his hyper military focus as well as his tendency to lead global military alliances.

The UMC, Austria, Don Host, Bolivar, Tyrol, Moldavia, and Poland declared their support for Hungary. Within the same day, James Bay switched support after pressure from Armenia. The Swiss Confederation declared neutrality.

Following this announcement, Kosovo, Timor, and James Bay declared their support for Turkey, Albania also immediately declared war on Hungary following Turkey.

The UMC, Austria, Don Host, Bolivar, Tyrol, Moldavia, and Poland declared their support for Hungary. Within the same day, James Bay switched support after pressure from Armenia. The Swiss Confederation declared neutrality.

==The War==
===First Contact===
The beginning of the war was a period of extreme uncertainty for the Persian Empire, which was the current head of the UMC. Due to past problems with Turkey, it was suspected that Fiji intended on fighting a war against the Persian Empire in an attempt to prevent them from gaining more influence and power on the global stage.

===Frontline Establishment===
As a result of extended fighting, certain fronts would be established alongside borders. The main fronts were the Syrian Front, the Caucasian Front, and the Levantine Front. There were also minor fronts, such as the South Arab front, and the Timurid front.

==The Caucasian Front==
===Kurdish Invasion of Turkey===
On June 17, 2023, Chicko, the leader of Kurdistan, returned with an army and invaded Turkish borders then declared war on them. This action immediately caused Ave, the leader of Phoenicia, to kick Kurdistan from the Levantine Pact. Turkey announced the same day that the Kurdish declaration of war would be rejected and Kurdistan was not recognized as a state. Although recognizing its sovereignty, The Persian Empire, would redeclare war on Kurdistan to make it clear that Chicko must still pay for his past crimes against Iran. Despite this, no battles would take place between the Persian Empire and Kurdistan throughout the war.

===Armenian Provocations===
Another major power located in the Caucasian front was the [[Aurora:Armenia|Republic of Armenia]], a nation which was not friendly with either the Persian Empire or Turkey. After the Crusader Deal succeeded and the Crusader States were integrated into the Persian Empire on June 20, 2023, President LovelyFurball immediately declared that Armenia no longer recognized the legitimacy of the Crusader States. He cited that the old king WakePVP did not wish for EmulationNerd, the new ruler, to align with any powers in the Middle East or to join any meganations. LovelyFurball also stated that Armenia would shelter all dissenters, and even incorporated some towns into its nation. This would bring Armenia into the Levantine Front.

===Seven Day Plan - Armenia===
Fed up with Armenian intervention, Persia decided to employ its Seven Day Doctrine against Armenia. This military strategy was devised by Tavi and Sepraf, and the goal of this form of combat is to achieve a significant military victory every single day for a week against a targeted nation.

===Fall of Armenia===
On August 18, 2023, the Armenian town of Sevan was infiltrated by Persian forces and subsequently added to the Persian Empire. The town's conquest proved to be extremely beneficial because not only did it connect to Urmia and Iran, but it also completely separated East and West Armenia dealing a major blow to LovelyFurball's presidency and isolating their capital. Later that night, LovelyFurball transferred the nation of Armenia to the town of New Orthinia, who abolished Armenia and created the nation of [[Caspian]]. The capital of Yerevan was also given to Membolek before LovelyFurball fled Armenia. New Orthinia, now being independent of Israel, drew the attention of the Persian Empire which declared war on it. However, the Persians still continued their 7 day assault on the remaining Armenian towns.

Crippled from the desertion of their president, on August 19, the town of Martuni, neighboring Shushi, the capital of Eastern Armenia, fell to the Persian siege. The Persian town of Astara expanded its front straight into the ruins of Martuni, also preventing Northern Turkish forces from sweeping any deeper into the Caucasus. After this defeat it was clear that the Republic of Armenia would never be reestablished.

==The Levantine Front==
===Seven Day Plan - Israel===
Planning on using the Seven Day Doctrine against Israel, a key member of the Levantine Pact, and the lifeline of the New Orthinia colony, Tavi and Sepraf started gathering intelligence on all the weak points of the Nation and its towns.

===South Sinai Conquest===
On July 11, 2023, the second day of the Seven Day Plan, Operation Ancient Orthinia was executed. After the Israeli town of Tayran fell, the surrounding Persian and Crusader siege began its advance. However, Egyptian forces immediately marched South from their Northern Sinai territories, causing the Battle of South Sinai to ensue. After an extended period of combat and claiming. The Persian town of Ancient Orthinia was finally established. However, the Egyptians, utilizing a claim arm strategy, were able to prevent Persia from going any further North (this would be rolled back by the moderators on June 23, and the stolen chunks were awarded to Persia). This expansion not only dealt a blow to Israel, but also exposed a weakness in Egypt now that the Crusader States had an opening into Africa.

==Last Days==
===Turco-Levantine Alliance===
On September 19, 2023, MK227, the inheritor of Phoenicia, announced that not only were relations reestablished with Turkey, but that Turkey would join the Levantine Pact. On September 21, the Seljuk Empire joined the Levantine Pact, however, LovelyFurball prevented an announcement from being made on TBI since the Pact itself was not informed on their recruitment. On September 26, the Ilkhanate would join the Levantine Pact. However, the mass recruitment of Turkic nations would have unforeseen consequences for the Pact.

==Aftermath==
===Decline of the Levantine Pact===
After the war, the Levantine Pact, which was now oversaturated with Turkic nations, saw the recruitment of Cascadia on October 2, 2023. MK227 stated that he hoped the Levantine Pact would be able to defend from the Persian Empire with the new addition. On October 22, LovelyFurball announced that The Mojave Republic joined the Pact.

Two days later, on October 24, Egypt announced its departure from the Pact, stating that it was no longer supporting the interests of Egypt and the entirety of the Middle East. NeFFeeh specified that the Pact no longer serves defensive purposes for keeping peace, and has rather turned into a hate club against Kushan. It was also specified that no one in the alliance trusted each other which made it primordial.

On October 25, Somali followed suite and abandoned the Pact while denouncing the actions of Phoenicia. 8set stated that Ave2k and MK227 started conflict between Somali and Phoenicia, specifying that the alliance was dead and if further aggressions continue, greater measures would be pursued. Somali also stated that they were dissatisfied with the addition of enemy nations within the pact without consultation. Phoenicia immediately responded by leaving the Levantine Pact as well and saying it had turned into a cesspool, also specifying they maintained respect with Turkey and Israel. This would make Israel the last founding member of the Levantine Pact to remain in it.

On October 28, Iowa left the Levantine Pact, but mentioned they would still remain in the Turan Pact. This was the final time the Levantine Pact was mentioned on TBI, thus rendering it effectively dead.
