The nation and meganation of Baltic is located in the Baltic Sea region, Europe. Firstly acquired and renamed to Baltic, the nation evolved into a meganation of the same name soon after. Two events contributed for the idea of Baltic to be born. Firstly, the selling of (old) Estonia by the leader TRIDENTY and the nation of Livonian Order falling into inactivity.
Ethnically Estonian mayors for a long time were uncontented with TRIDENTY’s rule. But the last straw was selling of the nation and its capital - the largest town - to ethnic Russians who belonged to the nation of Austria-Hungary. The town of Louna, at the time under rule of REK3k, joined Livonian Order, while the neighbouring town of Sakala was bought by Livonian Order, specifically by the player named THE_GREAT_LATVIA (now - sigmaskibidi3166), and handed to Andris237 (now - UberLatvans).
Soon after already fallen from its previous glory Livonian Order went in even bigger inactivity: THE_GREAT_LATVIA quit EMC for some time and the leaders stopped responding to any dms and logged onto the server only to not let the capital and nation fall.
Some time before the very day of foundation REK3k - the at the time ruler of Louna - created an inter town organisation in Baltic Sea region. Many towns, big and small, joined it.First and foremost it was an economic organisation, a platform to help coordinate infrastructure projects in the region. It could be compared to the in real life Hanseatic League. That is when the seed of an idea of a united Baltic nation was born, even if it was still far from realisation.

The government of Baltic is made up of three branches: the executive, which includes the prime minister and his appointed officials in the cabinet (along with governors of nations inside meganation); the legislative, which includes the Valstõn Nõ’v (collection of mayors and an elected representative); and finally the judiciary, which is centered around the speaker of the Valstõn Nõ’v, who acts as the Head Judge of Baltic. Elections are held at the end of every month, with the results being announced the following month at the 1st. Elections follow a system wherein every citizen has a code unique to them which they enter in elections, in order to minimize election fraud and interference, as any invalid codes or duplicate codes which aren’t real can easily be detected and not counted.

The military of Baltic is an optional thing to join, but in times of war, it may be mandatory to join. Militias (local forces for nations or towns) also are required to abide to the national military force. Elections are held at the end of every month, with the results being announced the following month at the 1st. Elections follow a system wherein every citizen has a code unique to them which they enter in elections, in order to minimize election fraud and interference, as any invalid codes or duplicate codes which aren’t real can easily be detected and not counted.

The nation was acquired and renamed on March 22th, 2024, while the meganation was formed on April 6th of 2024, when the nations of Paradise (located in North America) and Lithuania_Duchy (at the time - GDL) joined.

Two events contributed for the idea of Baltic to be born. Firstly, the selling of (old) Estonia by the leader TRIDENTY and the nation of Livonian Order falling into inactivity.
Ethnically Estonian mayors for a long time were uncontented with TRIDENTY’s rule. But the last straw was selling of the nation and its capital - the largest town - to ethnic Russians who belonged to the nation of Austria-Hungary. The town of Louna, at the time under rule of REK3k, joined Livonian Order, while the neighbouring town of Sakala was bought by Livonian Order, specifically by the player named THE_GREAT_LATVIA (now - sigmaskibidi3166), and handed to Andris237 (now - UberLatvans).
Soon after already fallen from its previous glory Livonian Order went in even bigger inactivity: THE_GREAT_LATVIA quit EMC for some time and the leaders stopped responding to any dms and logged onto the server only to not let the capital and nation fall.
Some time before the very day of foundation REK3k - the at the time ruler of Louna - created an inter town organisation in Baltic Sea region. Many towns, big and small, joined it.First and foremost it was an economic organisation, a platform to help coordinate infrastructure projects in the region. It could be compared to the in real life Hanseatic League. That is when the seed of an idea of a united Baltic nation was born, even if it was still far from realisation.
