== Founding ==
The town was founded on the 2nd of May 2026, also the day on which the first building of the town, The Tavern of Adjud was built.

Initially the town wasn't part of any nation, but showed interest in joining the future nation of Romania, on May 4th joining the Romanian Union. Before the founding of the later nation of Carpathia, the town was firstly part of the major nation of Italy, which guaranteed the town protection while also gifting the owner a pickaxe, a sign of mutual respect between the town and the government at Rome.

While being a part of Italy, the town saw an agricultural growth, building small wheat and potato farms, also building the Bank of Adjud, a significant building in the town. Weeks after the founding, the town left Italy and joined The PLC, seeing the growing trend of nearby towns joining the PLC, but just for a few days, later returning to Italy.

=== The Pre-Carpathian Period ===
During the Pre-Carpathian period, the town developed the relations with other towns in the Romanian Union such as Galati, Brasov, Bucharest and Ruse (after the mayor built the Giurgiu-Ruse bridge). Meanwhile, in an attempt of strengthening relations with the major town of Sighisoara, the mayor dariusavr_ was assaulted by the mayor of Sighisoara, LandellCat, and killed in the Carpathian Mountains. After complaints in the Carpathian Government, LandellCat didn't respond to the accusations and never returned dariusavr_'s belongings. Therefore began the hostilities between Sighisoara and Adjud, the two towns starting a rivalry and the mayors of the towns being outlawed.

In this time period Adjud became a mainly agricultural town, gaining about 70% of it's economy through it's farms and securing an important source of food. Historically significant buildings were also built, such as the Church of Adjud and the Windmill.

After joining Carpathia on June 11th, the town continued it's growth, the Terracotta, Concrete and Stone Manufactory was built, all the farms were expanded, the territory of the town was expanded to 29 chunks and the town contributed significantly to the pathway system of Carpathia, being a major node between Bucharest, Galati and Iasi

=== The Future of Adjud ===
In the future, Adjud will continue bringing major contributions to Carpathia's infrastructure and road systems. Pathways and roads are being planned across the Carpathians and over the Prut River and Railways are being traced all over the country, Adjud being in the middle of all the systems

== Agricultural Expansion ==
There is a high number of farms all across Adjud, most of them neighboring each other on the Farm Street. Firstly a barn was built to shelter the sheeps of the town, and next to it a small wheat farm. Fast forward to today, Adjud is an agricultural powerhouse, having numerous farms: potato, carrot, sugar cane, sweet berries and obviously wheat. In Adjud you can finding the largest wheat farm in all of Carpathia, having a staggering 1800 blocks of farmland, while also being semi-automated, a single harvest bringing over 4 stacks of hay bales.
