Within the community of the [[EarthMC Mafia]] (''MineMob''), a system of permadeath exists known as "'''whacking'''", in which members are banned or forced into retirement from the EarthMC server. This system evolved from the EarthMC Mafia's cousin community, the RoMob (Roblox Mafia).

As of September 2022, there have been several known mob-related homicides on EarthMC. Most can be attributed to the [[Volkov Family]]. However EarthMC staff can participate in whackings themselves.

The Kingdom of Norway was a nation created on May 7th, 2022 during Terra Aurora's (TA) early access. Its founders during that time include BigshotWarrior, tony_83, TheAmazing_Moe,alongside others such as Natezaa and North_Paso who helped in donating gold to fund for the nation. Norway is the 55th nation to be made on Terra Aurora.

The history of the Kingdom of Norway is limited due to the time of activity and limited spots open during TA's early access. Norway was not the first choice for this group, as Iceland was the first goal. On May 1st, 2022, BigshotWarrior created the town of Lisbon along the banks of the Tagus river. Within a couple of hours however, the players BeyondReturn and underrrr created the town of Lisboa, a couple hundred blocks north of Lisbon. Seeing the competition in the area, BigshotWarrior decided to sell the town to these players, and the negotiated price was for 500 gold. The sale was made official on May 3rd, 2022.

With the profit made from selling the two chunk town of Lisbon, BigshotWarrior and his friends then created the town of Trondheim, with the goal of creating the nation of Norway. With this head start, everyone involved mined as much as possible for the goal of creating the nation. With the generous donation of 200g from North_Paso, tony_83 was able to create the nation of Norway on May 8th, 2022. With this, Norway was the 55th nation created on TA, and one of the last nations to be made prior to the end of early access.

==== Joining Regional Powers ====
On May 16th, 2022, Norway joined the Regional Powers alongside the nations of Indochina, Aland, Britain, Denmark and Canada, with its respective leaders at the time being NoneAvailable, 9DF, 32FatNeek, YelloPlays and wtfmute. The main leader of the Regional Powers was Morgini, a highly influential member of Indochina, with BigshotWarrior having administrator permissions in the discord. Though its intentions were to revive the spirit of the old Terra Nova alliance with the same name, there was no clear objective to the alliance and it became a place of recruitment for Loka players, and within a month or so, the alliance was effectively defunct. Norway has remained a nation of neutrality ever since.

==== Texas joins Norway as a colony ====
On May 23rd, 2022, Texas, led by its leader North_Paso, joins Norway as a colony, becoming Norway's first of many possessions in the New World. North_Paso is good friends with the Norwegian leadership and even though Texas broke away on July 4th, 2022, Texan and Norwegian relations remain peaceful and friendly.

==== The King falls ill :( ====
On June 27th, 2022, BigshotWarrior, the King of Norway and the Seven Seas, tested positive for COVID-19. In miraculous fashion, he tested negative three days later after he "sweated it out" in running in humid 100+ degrees Fahrenheit heat and sleeping in sweaters and multiple blankets. By the blessings of Lord Zenu, he beat the illness and was able to resume his royal activities.

On July 15th 2022, SetReload becomes Minister of Architecture alongside Oce_87 (formerly known as Ocegame_n_agma). This was the first promotion in Norwegian history for a commoner to become a Lord.

On August 9th, 2022, Norway joins the Orthodox Church led at the time by Kideyy. This makes BigshotWarrior a part of the Papal Royalty, TheAmazing_Moe the Patriarch of the North, and tony_83 the Archbishop of Norway.

==== Norway leaves the Orthodox Church ====
On August 26th, 2022, Kideyy resigned from the Orthodox church, which pretty much meant that Norway was no longer part of the church.

==== Cutecuteh rebels against Norway ====

On October 16th, 2022, Cutecuteh rebels against the nation of Norway and got her town of Sweden along with other towns such as Sweden, dogeland, Cutesmart, New_Dubass, Noway, and IKEA to join the Netherlands. However, a couple of days before, Oce_78 thought that Cutecuteh was alting while he was a councillor of Sweden helping them with building a variety of builds for gold. Norwegian citizens worked together to gather evidence and made a ticket against Cutecuteh. On October 23rd, 2022, Cutecuteh got banned along with the eight alts they were using at the same time. One of the fallouts that will occur is that five towns will fall once their mayors' data wipes.
