After the erasing of Manatsu_, a resident of Leningrad (The Soviet capital), of the name ElGalloMaldito, seized control. At this time, located a short distance west of Barnaul at Lake Kulundinskoye, (Real life site of Blagoveshchenka) existed the small but charming settlement of "Lake Town", owned by SnowyGaming_321 and Alk0_.

In January 2023, SnowyGaming_321 made the decision to dissolve the settlement and relocate to Barnaul alongside with Alk0_. A large number of plots were provided on the western side of the Cathedral. A library and numerous structures were built. However, at this point SnowyGaming_321 and Alk0_, who were real life friends, had a falling out. SnowyGaming_321 (Now known as "SnowysOnCrack") relocated to Jan Mayen, while Alk0_ remained. After a brief standoff, SnowysOnCrack's plots were seized and razed to the ground by Alk0_.

Barnaul's activity levels were maintained for the net six months, and the town expanded to 500 chunks and 140 residents at its peak. Several satellite towns were created (Novoaltaysk, Talmenka, Mayak), and a large contiguous claim area was formed.

Some time in 2023, the town of "Kitchingham" was created by Brommer94. This town joined Tunguska, violating the claims of the nation, their refusal to kick them promted the declaration of war. The town of "Kemerovo" was established by Player_9880 and HardCod3d directly to the west of Kitchingham, and grew to approximately 78 chunks. A ice highway station, Russian flag and military headquarters were established in the town. The town was deleted around a week later as the result of a Tunguskan ticket, with the accusation of "claimblocking". This move prompted further offensive measures, and the town of Norilsk was created by Theartofreading directly bordering the western edge of Illuminati, the Tunguskan capital. Norilsk was progressively expanded, reaching a peak population of 25, and 120 chunks. It was at this time that Anarazy joined the nation, and created a wooden temple and statue in the town. The real life "Church of New Martyrs and Confessors" was created also. However, the situation changed drastically with the planned addition of overclaim. The current situation was untenable, and Norilsk was unclaimed and deleted.

===Stagnation===
With the planned addition of overclaim and other events happening, Theartofreading gradually lost interest in the server and recruitment slowed. This resulted in the population of Barnaul declining from 140 to 35. General nation activity was lowest at this time with town owners and residents very rarely logging on.

===Collapse===
After some discussion, Theartofreading, Player_9880 and HardCod3d all agreed to leave the server and distribute valuables to the remaining active mayors.

In January 2023, SnowyGaming_321 made the decision to dissolve the settlement and relocate to Barnaul alongside with Alk0_. A large number of plots were provided on the western side of the Cathedral. A library and numerous structures were built. However, at this point SnowyGaming_321 and Alk0_, who were real life friends, had a falling out. SnowyGaming_321 (Now known as "SnowysOnCrack") relocated to Jan Mayen, while Alk0_ remained. After a brief standoff, SnowysOnCrack's plots were seized and razed to the ground by Alk0_.

Barnaul's activity levels were maintained for the net six months, and the town expanded to 500 chunks and 140 residents at its peak. Several satellite towns were created (Novoaltaysk, Talmenka, Mayak), and a large contiguous claim area was formed.

Some time later Ssythx joined the server, who would become a notable nationmember.

===War With Tunguska===

Some time in 2023, the town of "Kitchingham" was created by Brommer94. This town joined Tunguska, violating the claims of the nation, their refusal to kick them promted the declaration of war. The town of "Kemerovo" was established by Player_9880 and HardCod3d directly to the west of Kitchingham, and grew to approximately 78 chunks. A ice highway station, Russian flag and military headquarters were established in the town. The town was deleted around a week later as the result of a Tunguskan ticket, with the accusation of "claimblocking". This move prompted further offensive measures, and the town of Norilsk was created by Theartofreading directly bordering the western edge of Illuminati, the Tunguskan capital. Norilsk was progressively expanded, reaching a peak population of 25, and 120 chunks. It was at this time that Anarazy joined the nation, and created a wooden temple and statue in the town. The real life "Church of New Martyrs and Confessors" was created also. However, the situation changed drastically with the planned addition of overclaim. The current situation was untenable, and Norilsk was unclaimed and deleted.

===Stagnation===
With the planned addition of overclaim and other events happening, Theartofreading gradually lost interest in the server and recruitment slowed. This resulted in the population of Barnaul declining from 140 to 35. General nation activity was lowest at this time with town owners and residents very rarely logging on.

===Collapse===
After some discussion, Theartofreading, Player_9880 and HardCod3d all agreed to leave the server and distribute valuables to the remaining active mayors.

Theartofreading has expressed his intentions to leave the server once again, ending an age of growth and strength under his rule. Many are saddened at the news, but almost all have questioned the unfortunate decision and the future of The Russian Republic. Due to the fact that he left the mayor position to a player by the name of ohMerxy, Novosibirsk and Barnaul are not expected to fall soon, but there is no denying that his ultimate leaving would kill off the Russian Republic.
