History
Founding
The Kingdom of Mexico was founded on May 15, 2022 after 2 weeks of effort by the now King, FroyourFilms. He was originally making the nation of New Galicia, but took on secretly the task of making Mexico after a suggestion by EstiQT as no one else was planning to. It was the 66th nation on EMC Terra Aurora. For 3 days the Kingdom of Mexico was independent of all its neighbors, which were few in those formative weeks.

Beginning
Upon Sonora being founded by HeyItzSaph on the 18th of May, the Mexican Empire was proclaimed that same evening. By the 19th day of the foundation of Mexico it had begun to amass towns and a community, with 7 towns.

As of the 31st of May of 2022, Mexico has 11 towns and counting. That figure rose to 18 by the 14th of July.

Cuban War
After Louisiana's June 12th declaration of war on Cuba, 7 other nations, soon followed declaring war on Cuba. After this the Mexican Congress deliberated and on that afternoon announced their neutrality on the war.

Panamerica's Founding
On August 12th after a few weeks of discussion; Mexico, Sonora, Nevada, and Cuba merged to create Panamerica, a meganation with the intent of being a continental superpower. However, Panamerica was politically underdeveloped, and always steeped in controversy due to Cuba constantly being at war, with no hope of reconciliation. The Euphorian Empire and Sonora's departure in the following months led to the alliance's dissolution by the middle of December.

Government
Mexico, as a state in the Mexican Empire is officially known as the Commonwealth of Mexico.
Provisional Government
In the days following the creation of Mexico, a simple Congress made of trusted mayors and individuals was founded to debate on national affairs. They would discuss and when a consensus was formed, Emperor FroyourFilms acted on it.

Despite his intentions to formalize and democratize the Mexican Government, it was only after months had passed that on August 30th FroyourFilms announced an upcoming Government overhaul while unveiling an interim Cabinet of Kratzzi, Pancat, Nomad_Sky (King of Sinaloa), and Saph. (Reina de Sonora)

__TOC__

Regions
Jefferson is divided into 4 main Regions:

Central California Metroplex
(9 towns)

- The vast majority of Jefferson's population lives in one of the 8 towns in the Central California Metroplex. The largest city is Fresno, with all other towns acting as neighborhoods, suburbs, or exurbs that each share a border with the main city. As the name of the region states, this metropolis is located in Central California which is where Jefferson started as a nation.

Northern California
(4 towns)

- The region of Northern California consists of the largest town, Lost Coast, with Hill Valley directly south of it, Lassen which is inland and mountainous, and Auburn to the east of Lassen. All towns in the region share a common biome of forest yet have unique styles of architecture and city design.

Northern Nevada
(2 towns)

- The Northern Nevada region includes 2 towns, Pyramid Lake and Fort Elko. Both towns are situated in the desert yet differ drastically in most other factors. Fort Elko is an outpost town while Pyramid Lake is an oasis village.

Pacific
(2 towns)

- The most isolated region of Jefferson, Pacific, consists of 2 towns, Monterey Bay and Hakai Lodge. Monterey Bay is directly on the ocean, while Hakai Lodge is located on the southern end of a British Columbian island.

Towns
The 17 towns of Jefferson are listed as the following in order of creation date:

San Jose
- Fresno is the capital and largest city in Jefferson. Being our most densely populated town, Fresno is the only city with skyscrapers in the nation. ===Lost Coast===
Founded: Jan. 3, 2023

- Lost Coast is the oldest city in California's Far North and the 2nd largest city in Jefferson by area. Most of the town is protected forest land, which allows it to have the largest preserved coastal forests in all of the lower 48 states. ===Azure Bay===
Founded: May 1, 2023

- Azure Bay is a beach town located just west of Fresno. The town lies on a warm savannah biome and has many modern buildings and homes surrounding its main beach, where a large statue of the late Technoblade is located. ===Pyramid Lake===
Founded: Mar. 22, 2023

- As the name suggests, Pyramid Lake is a village that surrounds Nevada's largest lake, which the town is named after. The town is a small and cozy oasis in a very large desert. For being such a small town, Pyramid Lake has many local businesses such as the Pyramid Credit Union, Pyramid Organics, the Lakeside Inn, and PL Mining Co.

Clovis
Founded: Apr. 17, 2023

- Clovis is a small, primarily agricultural town located between Fresno and Visalia.

Madera
Founded: Apr. 18, 2023

- Madera is a small city north of Fresno that has much to offer. The western part of town is in the San Joaquin Valley, the central part is in savannah, and the eastern part is directly on the Sierra Nevada mountains. It's surrounded by forests and grasslands, with vines lining many of its buildings. It also has one of Jefferson's best government buildings, the Madera City Hall.

Hakai Lodge
Founded: May 12, 2023

- Located off the coast of an isolated British Columbia island, Hakai Lodge is the most remote town in Jefferson, having to change Its town spawn just to reach the maximum distance allowed for towns to join a nation. The town has two main parts, one on the island and another on the ocean. The island part is dotted with small cabins, fitting for the surrounding forests, while the ocean part stands on logs and has a canal running through the buildings.

Hill Valley
Founded: Jun. 5, 2023

- Hill Valley is located in the forests of coastal Northern California. It is a city built from ruins, as before the present-day Hill Valley there existed a town there by the same name and same mayor. The most prominent building in town is its large brick City Hall.

Founded: Jun. 14, 2023

- Monterey Bay is located entirely on the Pacific Ocean and is completely surrounded by glass.

Fort Elko
Founded: Jun. 15, 2023

- Fort Elko is an isolated town in the middle of the Northern Nevada desert. It was originally founded as an outpost for Lost Coast but has since become an outpost for the nation as a whole. Fort Elko is a primarily military town, with a tall outpost tower in the center, but has recently grown to become more residential.

Lassen
Founded: Jul. 6, 2023

- Lassen is located on the foothills of the snowy Mt Shasta, the most prominent peak in California. Covered in dense green forests, Lassen is a small town with beautiful spruce cabins and lodges, with a rural-ranch feel.

Stockton
- Stockton is located on the northernmost end of the Central California Metroplex and is close to the ruins of the fallen town of Yosemite. A creek runs through the middle of town which adds to the natural feel of the area.

Before Pyramid Lake/History
At the start of Pyramid Lake's History its first leader JAGL05 was a new player to Earth MC. With his partner Kangchub they started a town called Needles that was a colony of the Oregon Empire. As the colony started gaining more money the two leaders went down south to claim a lake they named Pyramid Lake and started building infrastructure there. When the Oregon Empire got integrated into Aurora:Cascadia the colony had been released and its economy collapsed and then province had collapsed. After 8 Months the two leaders got on again to find there town ravaged by raiders and in March of 2023 they founded Pyramid Lake.

Modern History
After the former leaders came back to rebuild the town. The goal of the town Pyramid Lake now is to annex all of Pyramid Lake, as of March 24th 2023 the lake is only half way claimed. Resources are not limited though, with diamond deposits all over the region with one miner digging up 30 diamonds on the first day of mining in Pyramid Lake.

Geography
The geography of Pyramid Lake is dry and arid more far out from the lake. Near the lake though the land is fertile and farmable but that is only right next to the lake. Farther west you can see that there are more trees and lakes in the west coast and Cascadia regions. These trees are very plentiful but hard to reach because of the rocky land near them. Underground in Pyramid Lake is filled with diamond deposits and coal deposits.

Natural Resources
The Natural resources in the region are plentiful, like underground where there is coal,Iron, gold and other minerals that are common in these types of regions. The most money that the territory gets off of the resources is glass. Resources that the region lacks though is wheat and farmable land. Territory like Pyramid Lake's would import goods like vegetables ands seeds.

History
Founding
The nation of Mexico itself was founded on May 15th, 2022 and soon after on the 18th the nation of Sonora was founded. At that moment the Mexican Empire was formed between the two nations, in order to be a greater force against the ambitions of stronger and more populous neighbors such as America.

Sinaloa was the third state to join the Mexican Empire as Nomad_Sky moved from Europe to Sinaloa.

Fall 2022
Mexico began to expand outwardly taking towns from more inactive nations and accepting new nations into the Mexican Empire. FroyourFilms unsuccessfully attempted to incorporate a functional Government in Mexico, temporarily appointing Saph as President until the Government's finalization.

Kanada joins the Mexican Empire during this period as the fourth province on November 7th, with Bubu as King.
On November 10th the Mexican Empire hosted their first elections for President, with Kratzzi (Mayor of Puebla) being the first elected Mexican President. He won with 33.3% of the vote (using First past the post.) Kratzzi's presidency is characterized by bouts of map-making, recruiting and inactivity.
Chihuahua is made and joins Mexico the same day as the fifth province.

Baja's first Capital (Christiantown) and King (Enoch01) were previously part of California but after the bans that killed California, they joined Sonora before making the nation months later becoming the sixth state to join the Mexican Empire.

Colorado previously declared independence from the now defunct New Mexican Empire, but it was sold to runnerboy72000 who offered to join the Mexican Empire, after some time this offer was accepted, and Colorado became the seventh Mexican state.

Winter 2022
This period was characterized by both a large increase in gold, and increased recruiting. It marked the end of the slight slump in activity that occurred in the fall. It also meant the de-facto end of the consensus-based Mexican Congress which was previously relied on heavily for debating foreign and internal affairs, as both Saph and FroyourFilms did diplomacy on their own.

Sonora declared war on Yamato for a few days due to the theft of Heirevel's head collection in Sonora, this theft was misappropriated to a Yamato mayor and the War was ended on the 17th of January after more information was revealed.

Mexico City was for a long time under the leadership of MonkeeRee and his nation of America, however America soon became inactive so he offered to sell it to both Cuba and Florida, however delays ended up causing that Heirevel would buy Mexico City for 7000g, and on December Mexico City would be reunited with its namesake nation.

January 2023
The USA is the eighth state in the Mexican Empire. The Leader of the USA was previously Indian Emperor before deciding to move and create a Mexican nation. Previously all nations in the Mexican Empire were called provinces, but Coahuila (Mayor of Saltillo) strongly urged changing to states just like the real-world Mexico.

On January 27th the Mexican Empire finally opened elections for both Imperial President, and the Mexican Congress; a first within the Empire. The only other election in Mexico was for President in November. These January Elections for the February Term were intended to create a trend and create a precedent of activity and political participation within the Empire. The vote began on the 31st.
February 2023
Heirevel was elected the 2nd Mexican President with 75% of the vote. Mexican Congressmen were also elected. Continuing the growth spurt of the Empire both Durango and Hawaii joined the Empire in this month. Durango's stay in the Empire was rather short-lived, it was sold to Lervain, moved to Yucatan, and renamed to Yucatan. This increased tensions for a while, however the Second Yucatan itself was short-lived and also sold and moved to Honduras.
March 2023
March saw further Mexican expansion, with the Kingdom of Georgia joining the Empire via Sonora. In this period, it also became the largest North American meganation, with over 6000 chunks and 600 residents.

July 2023
This saw the arrival of Seranil into the Mexican Empire, alongside the State of Nuevo León, which he founded. Both Santa Rosalía and Michoacán would leave and rebel against the Mexican Empire.
This period saw rapid centralization as a response to this period of fragmentation, as a Constitution was adopted and elections called. MF_Rayado was the first elected President under the Constitution.

Government
Pre Constitution
For over a year, the Mexican Empire had no Constitution and faced many issues from this. The Empire was very decentralized with very little federal oversight; especially over independent foreign affairs. In practice it was a de-facto Confederation. Congress was an Oligarchy comprised of all State Leaders and various influential mayors, with Cabinet comprising all State Leaders.

Constitution
The Constitution was drafted mostly by Seranil, with input from Emperor FroyourFilms and other Mexican State Governors.
After the ratification of the Mexican Constitution, the Empire became more centralized with regular elections for both President and Congress. States having their own diplomacy was no longer tolerated.

History
Founding
The nation of Mexico was founded on May 15, 2022 after 2 weeks of effort by the now King, FroyourFilms.

Government
Provisional Government
In the days following the creation of Mexico, a simple Congress made of trusted mayors and individuals was founded to debate on national affairs. They would discuss and when a consensus was formed, Emperor FroyourFilms acted on it.

Despite his intentions to formalize and democratize the Mexican Government, it was only after months had passed that on August 30th FroyourFilms announced an upcoming Government overhaul while unveiling an interim Cabinet of Kratzzi, Pancat, Nomad_Sky (King of Sinaloa), and Saph. (Reina de Sonora)

FroyourFilms was somewhat divided on where to make his town on EMC. However he sailed across the Indian and Atlantic Ocean and made a small base on the side of a mountain. On May 2nd he founded the town of Guadalajara, with the intent of creating the Kingdom of New Galicia. However this never happened as he chose to create Mexico once he had the gold needed.

Flag
FroyourFilms designed the flag originally for New Galicia, inspired by the Coat of Arms of Jalisco.

History
Oregon Empire was a mega-nation in North America. It's Kings were OriginalDogster, Wdym(now Presidentpico) and finally Bon_Kranch, and it's capital is Salem, Oregon. The

nations that made up the empire at it's peak were Oregon headed by the King, Washington headed by Bon_Kranch until it was sold and joined Cascadia, and Great_Bear headed by Jax_Everling which never officially left but the nation did fall. The empire ended after Bon was scammed by the leader of a Washington revolt against Cascadia, which joined Cascadia the day after, and had the nation of Oregon be transferred away. Oregon was part of the Crown of Texas for it's final months.

Yuma was founded on January 16th, 2023. Yuma was previously a town in the nation of Baja and due to this it was mistakenly believed to have joined Baja after Yuma became a nation.
This led to a diplomatic incident as Yuma was within Neo-Euphorian/Arizonan claims.

The nation was short-lived and fell soon after.

cheeseballfluffy (spawned July 25th, 2022) is a Cascadian politican, diplomat, and athlete serving as the Mayor of Avola and Ambassador to Asia.

Early Life (EarthMC Nova)
Shortly after joining the EarthMC Nova in the summer of 2019, cheeseballfluffy set his sights on living in his native Washington State. The new player had spawned into the mountainous region of Tibet on arrival, and due to being unaware of the server's means of teleportation, crossed Asia on foot and the Pacific by boat. He later landed in the Puget Sound and was then recruited into Walla Walla, Washington (Nova) by its mayor, BonZZil. In a event that saw the accidental murder of Mayor BonZZil's villagers kept adjacent to cheeseballfluffy's house, cheeseballfluffy was subsequently chased out of town and as a refugee was taken in by UnbatedAura in the Cascadian province of Deseret. His time in Deseret as asylum seeker was brief, albeit intentionally.

Seattle
Dissatisfied by the limited selection of Cascadian towns within Washington, cheeseballfluffy and bw3434 co-founded the city of Seattle in the fall of 2019. cheeseballfluffy had been watching a predecessor city known as Snohomish for months that upon its ruin, the two initially constructed a truncated prototype of the world famous Space Needle. However, this town itself would fall into ruin by December as cheeseballfluffy made increasingly infrequent visits to the server while bw3434 eventually retired. It would be several years until cheeseballfluffy would reclaim Seattle.

On December 27, 2019, a player named JTPilfered created a new town of the same name in the same location as cheeseballfluffy and bw3434's Seattle. JTPIlfered began full construction of the Space Needle and developed the town into a bustling hub of over 100 people that to date on EarthMC Nova, remains the largest town by area in the Pacific Northwest. JTPilfered also developed the Kitsap District into a new residential area as well as having a large shopping center at the National Spawn in the Tacoma Dome. He along with SayerQT, and xGoat_ together worked on a project in the Tacoma Dome of a giant 1:4 scale map of the entire Pacific Northwest region. This was finished on May 1st, 2020, and became the second biggest in-game map in all of EarthMC.

2020 saw a return to the server once again for cheeseballfluffy. Astonished at the rapid expansion and growth initiated by Mayor JTPilfered, cheeseballfluffy in his stint as Seattle citizen was often seen as second-in-command to JTPilfered until 2022. Over time, he became a recognized figure in the politics of the Salish Confederation and successive Evergreen Republic as he was a regular member of each government's Parliament.

The mayor grew tired after a lengthy tenure, and by 2022 began a streak of inactivity. JTPilfered was permanently deleted from EMC after being offline for 42 days on April 10th. Seattle resident MyHomeAddress took control of the town, however was not in contact with the Federal or provincial government, and on May 4, 2022, MyHomeAddress resigned as Mayor after much public pressure. The same day, cheeseballfluffy was inaugurated as Mayor of Seattle.

2022-present: (EarthMC Aurora)
Avola
Seeing as he had a virtually invisible footprint to the newest iteration of EarthMC Aurora, cheeseballfluffy opted to originally abstain from Aurora in favor of his duties as Nova Seattle mayor for the summer of 2022. Renovation of Nova Seattle's city hall in addition to crumbling infrastructure was particularly time-consuming. Whatever time cheeseballfluffy did spend on Aurora as a citizen of the newly formed nation of Cascadia was as a homeless squatter in the nation's capital of Olympia. On August 23rd, Vancouver (Aurora) was offered to cheeseballfluffy by SayerQT by virtue of the previous mayor leaving EarthMC, but he declined. Sayer then offered the town of White Rock—it had gone through a change in that the departure of former mayor wdym___ caused Cascadia to pursue ownership. Caretaker Mayor jtwokay was sent by Cascadian officials to purely retain the town for the nation, and as such, no changes were made in between tenures of wdym___ and cheeseballfluffy, who accepted.

The City of Avola was officially founded on September 16th, 2022 under the original name of White Rock by cheeseballfluffy. Seeing as its geographic position didn't correlate with the old name, the town name was changed to reflect this. cheeseballfluffy primarily spends time on EarthMC Aurora, as his responsibilities on the most recent server has surpassed his previous role in Seattle (Nova); though he occasionally stops by his old home. As of June 2023, cheeseballfluffy served six consecutive term in the House.

On June 1st, cheeseballfluffy was appointed to the position of Ambassador to the Diplomatic Province of Asia Major by Cascadian Secretary of State Milgorn123, and later captain of the Cascadian national team for the 2023 EarthMC World Cup Victoria.
