			The AA currently archives artifacts, books, artworks, land, and maps. Each item must first be proposed to the council and approved before being archived. Before the vote begins, there is a discussion period where the item will be researched and verified. Once this is done, each council member gets one vote, and to successfully pass a vote, an item must either hit majority vote, or it must have more approvals than denials by the 24 hour mark of its submission.

The Archaeological Association, also known as the AA, is a community of nations, each lead by one representative, who focus on gathering and archiving, artifacts, artwork, and books in an attempt to preserve EMC history. It was founded by Iran, Kushan, Kazakhstan, Israel, and Egypt.

==History==
===Old Association===
The Old Association refers to the original group, founded November 20, 2022 by Sepahan, Maala, New Orthinia, and Porolissum. This group was made up of town representatives, rather than national ones. The Old Association largely did not gain success, and remained obscure, effectively going inactive on December 2, 2022.

===Reform===
The group would remain inactive until November 25, 2024, when Sepraf, the leader of Iran, announced that the Association was being remade. The group would now focus on a gathering between nations to vote and rule on historically significant items. Immediately after this, Kushan, Kazakhstan, and Israel were invited, all of whom accepted. One day later, Egypt would also join.

On the same day, November 26, at 9:29 AM PST, Iran would submit the formation of the Association to TBI. However the report was rejected and listed as not news, despite the TBI guidelines stating that any agreement between nations would qualify as news. This led to much speculation within the Association regarding the bias and potential reasons why the TBI would be against such an organization, ranging from petty reasons such as pride, to more sinister motives.

The controversy with TBI resulted in the nations of Indochina, Rio Grande, California, Finnmark, and Savoie to join later within the same day.
