This declaration of independence ignited a revolutionary war, as the Antarctic Union was unsatisfied with the nation's exit, because the fact that it left shortly after getting the funds made the meganation think that they were unfairly scammed. '''East Antarctica''' fought against the rest of the [[Aurora:Antarctic Union\|Antarctic Union]] to secure its sovereignty. Most of the fighting was verbal, which included spreading false misinformation, for example Giant_Spliv_1 saying he got banned. This caused the nation to get kicked from BNDC - an alliance which included Patagonia and the Arctic Empire. Despite their courage, '''East Antarctica''' faced defeat, prompting the nation to reunite with the [[Aurora:Antarctic Union\|Antarctic Union]].
