The government is composed of Doge, who is de facto leader of Venice holding absolute power but generally passing his responsibilities onto Mini Doge. Next in hierarchy is Mini Doge elected from the candidates of the general population for three-week term. Upon election they choose cabinet of the Pregadi. They also have a lot of power to execute. The Pregadi are members of the Assemblea, it being a "parliament" where people discuss on important matters in private and vote legislation. The Savi are advisors to Doge chosen by him (or appointed by the rest of the Savi) and they are members of the Consiglio who discuss further important matters more discreetly as this is a collection of trusted and loyal henchmen. The City Boys are a few very trusted individuals chosen by mayor of the capital; they are to build the city. The Savi, the City Boys and Doges are considered elite.
			The constitution defines basic laws, rules behind elections, citizen rights etc.
