			The Wellmen are a holy order of knights originally made to usurp and control politics from beneath the shadows in early 2021. The group was highly secretive during this period and activities from 2021 to September 2022 are largely unknown. It is known that the group was not originally called the Wellmen, however the original name has been lost.

			According to Wellmen tradition, they were first tasked with protecting Dreddism by a vision that came to an unknown member of the order referred only as "The Enlightened One" a few months before the foundation of Dreddism, meaning that Wellmen preceded Dreddism on the worship of Freddie Dredd. This vision tasked the group to usurp a reining ruler of a country, a ruler who was famous for his depravity and manipulative nature. Weather the group was successful or not has been left to interpretation, since the traditions almost purposefully contradict one another, making it impossible to know. The group's doings after have remained a mystery and the next piece of information available is their reveal to the world a year later.

			The group made itself known during the ceremonial founding date of Euphoria, September 16th, when a well appeared in the now holy city of New Vegas. This well, now the holy site of Foraminis, quickly became famous as a meeting ground for the original knights. As their meetings became an open secret, the now Wellmen revealed themselves to the world and they began rapid expansion. Most members of the Camarilla are Wellmen.


			Wellmen are regarded as the main promoters of the Dreddist religion because of their seniority in comparison to the Church. Because of this seniority, high ranking members of the order have the privilege of being able to elect a pope once every month, they however, don't have any power over the Church.
