While nobody online on release day had actually spawned in France, those nearby rushed towards it while most others collected gold. Despite an advantage in numbers, France did not succeed in claiming the town name Paris, as it was instead claimed by the first town on the server, formed by a member of a group associated with Egypt. As a result, when the projects members reached France and created the capital, they opted for the name Versailles. Versailles consequently became the center of the entire project, with every member having joined or teleported to it to donate gold, items, and other resources, or to assist with building.
