== Background ==
After [[Francia]] declared war on [[France]], on July 23rd, 2021, [[Thanamos]] posted a message on the Francia Discord. This message declared that the [[Roman Catholic Church]] was illegitimate. In response, Pope Benedict XVII excommunicated Thanamos and took away his title as Christian King of Francia.

The Holy See no longer recognizes Thanamos as the legitimate catholic King of Francia, as he has broken sacred canon law. Three days after Thanamos' statement, the queen of Francia, [[Cinnamon]], posted on the same channel an invitation to their citizens to join the [[Apostolic Church]]. This was the final straw for the Pope and, on July 3rd, 2021, the Pope declared the [[Crusade against Francia]].

After 74 days, The Apostolic Accords were posted on the Catholic Church Discord and the crusade ended.
