With this occurring, many former Rio towns, primarily those who were part of the Republic of Killeen, joined this state. On August 24, Moe officially dissolved the Fifth Republic of Rio Grande. The same day, Paso was crowned by the Pope as Rio Grande Emperor. After this, THEF2PNOOB, acting governor of Louisiana, told Paso that Louisiana and Mississippi would be leaving the Provisional Government to form their own nation. The main causes for this were due to Paso's insistence to form an elective republic and differing ideas on allies. Over these next several days, the government would slowly begin to establish aspects of the future government.
