The Russian Republic is a nation in Central Siberia on Terra Aurora currently led by Supreme Rulers Theartofreading and _TintLalka___, and Prime Minister SaltiestSpinach3.
History
Forming of the Russian Republic
The founder of the Russian Republic, Theartofreading spawned in Xinjiang in September 2022 and travelled northwards, to set up a permanent base. As the location of Novosibirsk was occupied by another town at that point, the irl location of Barnaul was chosen. A small wooden ostrog was established. The first pieces of track of the Trans-Siberian railway was created at this time. A few days later the town of Barnaul was created. The ostrog was torn down at this point, and the first permanent structure was built, the Barnaul Town Hall, modeled loosely on the real life Barnaul Station. Stone was generously donated from DillJam, owner of Chelina, a town in the Kamchatka penninsula. The town joined the nation "Soviet", owned by Manatsu_, located on the eastern edge of Kazakhstan. Initial growth was slow. Around a month after the creation of the town, Airflamingo86 joined the town, and soon after established "Novoaltaysk" directly adjacent to Barnaul. Chinese hunter attacks were frequent, especially from Kasana1919810. Much gold and resources were lost. After the completion of the Town Hall and Railway Station and the central square of Barnaul, work began on the construction of the Dormition Cathedral Omsk. The town of Berdsk was created in november 2022 by Alpro12345, with funds from Theartofreading. Berdsk is now the oldest surviving town in the Russian Republic. After several months enough gold was gathered to create the nation of the "Russian Republic". The towns of Barnaul, Berdsk and Novoaltaysk subsequently left the nation of "Soviet". Around this time, Saltiestspinach, Hardcod3d and Player_9880 joined Barnaul and Berdsk, later becoming important figures. After the creation of the Russian Republic, Gamez_Admins (King of Kievan Rus) and Chunk_Of_Cheese (Dictator of Russia) invited the nation to join the "Holy Empire Of Rus", led by HenriquePotter of St Petersburg (Also known as "HouseTyrell". After joining the "Holy Empire Of Rus'" the Russian Republic was provided with military support against hunters, mostly through StulenKaiser. The "Battle of Barnaul" took place in the December of 2022, involving 10 residents of Barnaul, 2 chinese hunters(One of which was Kasana1919810), and the foreign volunteers of Gamez_Admins and Chunk_Of_Cheese. This battle was indecisive and resulted in the death of all 10 Barnaul as well of one of the hunters. Notable players, Newtonkiller and _Proto_ joined around this time to establish the town of "Bashkortostan". Steady growth occurred over the following months. The Russian Republic soon became the most populous nation in Siberia. Meanwhile, Manatsu_ mysteriously disappeared after long periods of inactivity, and the nation of "Soviet" began to languish. After the erasing of Manatsu_, a resident of Leningrad (The Soviet capital), of the name ElGalloMaldito, seized control. At this time, located a short distance west of Barnaul at Lake Kulundinskoye, (Real life site of Blagoveshchenka) existed the small but charming settlement of "Lake Town", owned by SnowyGaming_321 and Alk0_. In January 2023, SnowyGaming_321 made the decision to dissolve the settlement and relocate to Barnaul alongside with Alk0_. A large number of plots were provided on the western side of the Cathedral. A library and numerous structures were built. However, at this point SnowyGaming_321 and Alk0_, who were real life friends, had a falling out. SnowyGaming_321 (Now known as "SnowysOnCrack") relocated to Jan Mayen, while Alk0_ remained. After a brief standoff, SnowysOnCrack's plots were seized and razed to the ground by Alk0_.

The administrative centre of The Russian Republic. Founded in late 2022 as Berdsk, owned originally by Alpro12345, then HardC0d3d, then @Player_9880. Renamed to Novosibirsk in Mid-2024 following the collapse.

Originally named Grunbergisch, created by Schober_Gaming on the old site of "Novosibirsk", built by Vielsoe. Home to a Lutheran cathedral and ice highway station. It was bought by Skebleton in June 2024, and subsequently renamed to its real-life location of Slavgorod, "The city of glory". Located beside the Kazakh border.

Founded in June 2024 by Tikii10, an Ex EMC Catholic Church clergyman. Home to a substantial Catholic Cathedral. Located on a North-South above-ground ice highway in Central Siberia.
