Location and settlement

Northland (Bukjoknalla) is a town in the North Island of New Zealand settled around the top of the Island and the second most recent town in New Zealand as of October 9th 2019. The town was established on the 3rd of October 2019.

Name history

The town started off with the name Bukjoknalla but was changed to Northland on the 7th of October, 2019. The name Bukjoknalla translates into Northland in Korean and the mayor is a South Korean person that named the town Bukjoknalla only to make it unique but had thoughts of changing it to Northland. After a vote of the name changes, The name was officially changed the Northland.


The future of Bukjoknalla

Mayor Mochoimochi's goal for the future of the town is to make it a modern town with modern buildings, towers and etc. The town has only recently started and is only starting to make progress.
