Overview
The Salish Federation is a country that occupies territory in the western and northern portions of North America. The Salish Federation was founded out of the Republic of Cascadia by pro-democracy seperatists.
History
The nation of Salish was founded on the 9th of February, 2020, by Vorobyevite.
Cascadian Crisis
On February 8, 2020, founder of Cascadia and leader of Hyperion, RangerMK01, decided to announce that the next in line for President if the current president resigned would be LawOfRence of Port Angeles. This caused a backlash from the Cascadian Discord, which caused Vorobyevite to form a separatist group with other towns such as Seattle, Masset, and Winthrop. It was founded initially as a discord, that was focused on creating the Salish Federation in response to the supposed dictatorship of Cascadia.
Separation and Cascadian Backlash
On the 9th of February, 2020, Vorobyevite created the Salish Federation and members of the separatist group joined it as well. This was met with immediate backlash from the Cascadian Government, who announced these people as traitors to the state. Their trial is scheduled for Valentines' Day of 2020.
