History

Founding of the Protectorate

On October 31st of 2017 PolkadotBlueBear sailed to see if Tahiti existed on EarthMC. On his way he landed on two pacific islands and claimed them as the Alanian Pacific Protectorate. Alania has since unclaimed one of them.

Expansion

Then, on way across the Pacific again, PolkadotBlueBear claimed a chunk that, due to a volcanic eruption within the next hour, became another Island. Then, an Alanian citizen, SuperHappyBros, landed upon a South Pacific island, which he convinced PolkadotBlueBear to claim for Alania. The Islands is represented in Alanian Council Meetings by the Premier of North Borneo-Kudat, acting in the best interest of Isles.

Antarctic Lands

The former Alanian Colonies in the Antarctic combined with the Pacific Protectorate, these include Penguinia and Terre Adelie.

Current Lands

Kosrae

In the extreme Eastern Caroline Islands. Capital of the Protectorate, Jewel of the Pacific. Center of the Alanian State Mining Corporation's activities in the Pacific. No citizens.

Kiritimati

This Island, also know as the Christmas Island (in the Pacific, not Indian Ocean) is located in the Line Islands. Created as a result of Volcanic Activity on November 16th of 2017, this island has a small hill and lagoon, all remains of the Volcano Eruption of the 16th.

On November 19th of 2017, Another Island was annexed for the betterment of the Native Peoples and incorperated into the Protectorate. This island has no name as of now.

Former Lands

Kolonia

In the Marinas Island Chain, right in the middle. Was the source of a diplomatic dispute between Alania and Madrid-Castille Spain. Under the terms of the agreement, Alania unclaimed once they recieve the reimbursement of 32 gold from Madrid-Castille.
