Tasman

Tasman is a town North-West on the South Island of New Zealand, next to the towns of Jeangentil and Greymouth. It is the first and only settlement in the Tasman region, a dense mountain forest area.

History

Pre-History

Mayor Baconwaffles first arrived to New Zealand with the help of Taupo, being a resident at the town for a while until he decided to create his own town. He had two options, either make New Plymouth on North Island or Tasman on South Island. Mochoimochi, New Zealand's prime minister recommended Tasman after seeing the region was a lot bigger than Taranaki so Baconwaffles followed. With the prime minister's help of funding gold, Tasman was created.
