EarthMC:Recategorisation Project

This page exists to list all the links to pages needing recategorization and why it was undertaken.

This project exists to make sure that every page on the wiki is reachable only by clicking.

The Old Method and the New Method

The old categorisation method was Main-->Subject-->World. This lent itself to rapid overcategorization as 80 categories were made and instead of the pages being categorised at the end of the chain, they were categorised at the subject category, effectively ensuring thousands of pages were effectively uncategorised and only reachable by search.

The new method is Main-->World-->Subject. This effectively forces the novice wiki writer to categorise things at the end of the chain, therefore it is more accurate and more things can be reached by clicking through categories (Nation (Aurora) instead of Nation).
