Battle of Nuovo Palermo

The Battle of Nuovo Palermo was a conflict which started on January 18, 2019 and ended on January 23, 2019 in the capital of Argentina, Nuovo Palermo, located in South America.

Origin of the battle and the battle

Around January 15th, four players established a town a great distance from La Plata in territory which was completely undisturbed by human activity.

Chancellors of La Plata first threatened Nuovo Palermo by warning hostility if the town did not assimilate into their nation, but the people of Nuovo Palermo saw through their threats and knew nothing good would come of joining a nation which sought to bully them.

The chancellors from La Plata insisted that their nation was the union of nations historically known as "Provincias Unidas del Río de la Plata", and thus owned the territory of all of Argentina, the reality of this situation is that unions of nations such as La Plata claimed they were are not allowed by section 4.1 of the servers rules, thus the moderation team conceded that the nation would technically be representative of the Spanish colonial nation historically known as "Virreinato del Río de la Plata" knowing these facts brings an interesting predicament to the situation, both of these nations were short lived and their territory never extended as far south as Nuovo Palermo was located, thus the claim of La Plata was fabricated in an effort to prevent other users from settling in the southern half of South America.

The Citizens of La Plata began aggressive raids on Nuovo Palermo, attacking their citizens and damaging their property, the brave warriors of La Plata would only strike on residents of Nuovo Palermo when they outnumbered them and were hiding, and as soon as retaliation for their cowardly attacks came the brave warriors of La Plata would perform a magic art colloquially known as "combat logging."

The brave and ingenius warriors and battle engineers of La Plata began an incredible idea of digging a border tunnel to Nuovo Palermo, in their efforts of attempting to outnumber and surround the residents of Nuovo Palermo the warriors of La Plata managed to kill one rookie with bad gear, the poor fool from Nuovo Palermo had only learned how to mine and craft approximately 4 days prior to his murder.

On the 4th day of the conflict, La Plata citizens began to hide under the Valdes Peninsula owned by Nuovo Palermo in attempts to unleash a surprise attack in which they outnumbered the residents of Nuovo Palermo. Three brave scouts of La Plata were discovered on separate occasions by the Mayor of Nuovo Palermo, ishallownyou, upon being discovered by the Mayor the scouts immediately attacked him, and when he defended himself and his town the scouts all performed their magic art known as "combat logging", the tunnels created by the brave and ingenius combat engineers were discovered by Nuovo Palermo residents. Later that day, governors of La Plata realized that while they were wasting their time harassing and failing to attack the residents of Nuovo Palermo the residents of Nuovo Palermo were working diligently having over 320 gold, this made the military genius of La Plata realize their enemies goal: their own nation free from tyranny.

On the 5th day of the conflict, Nuovo Palermo's Mayor, ishallownyou, founded the nation Argentina. La Plata begins to see that this conflict may not be as simple and cost free as they imagined.

23 January 2019

On the 6th day, La Plata prepared an attack for Nuovo Palermo with 10 soldiers at 9:30 UTC. For this attack the great engineers of La Plata were called in to build a fort on their enemies border. Their enemies were occupied with College, as the people of Nuovo Palermo are not yet as educated as those of La Plata, so after camping Nuovo Palermo for an hour, the great warriors decided to move on..

One hour later, one Nuovo Palermo citizen joined the server, La Plata, slowly, started sending its people to attack. The conflict began as one brave and valiant warrior of La Plata came to fight ishallownyou, he continuously retreated as he had supreme tactical intelligence, until he was eventually slaughtered by the Mayor ishallownyou. La Plata swifly gathered five soldiers plus two brazilians (Heinz88 and Lucastorni), as a fair fight is far from acceptable, two men of Nuovo Palermo must be met with seven soldiers for the grand plan to work. The battle converted into a war: 32Slaid, Cloudy102, OfficialONION, CuttleFishNZ, Proda, Magenent, known as "Freedom Fighters" who stand against tyranny and unfair conflict, joined the war supporting the Argentinian cause.

La Plata was utterly defeated. After 3 hours of combat, the death count was too vast to track but had certainly surpassed 30, 32Slaid was falsely warned for griefing due to his use of building entry siege devices into the border fort of La Plata, the warning was removed shortly thereafter. Swiftly following these events SoyGalletita's nation gave up, because although they attempted to start a fight on a weaker fledgling town whom they greatly outnumbered, Nuovo Palermo had great allies arrive to even the odds of the conflict, and sadly for the great nation of La Plata, this meant a fight they couldn't win or have the resources to support, as fair fights are the weakness of their masterful strategy.

After giving up on the conflict, La Plata declared they were ending the war to attempt to cut their losses short at the massive amount it already was, and thus conceded defeat in the war, Argentina had won. Despite conceding defeat to Argentina the heroes of La Plata still deem it necessary to keep a border fort on the the capital city of Argentina, Nuovo Palermo. Along with this they continue to scout the Valdes peninsula and keep troops near and in the city, for fear of what the nation may do if they grow to an equal size as La Plata.
