The Great Bamboo Forest of the Northeastern United States, otherwise known as The Great Bamboo Forest, is a large collection of artificial bamboo forests created by anonymous users found across the Northeastern United States.
Description
Areas where the bamboo forests can be found include parts of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, Virginia, and Maryland. All of the bamboo is contained within unoccupied wilderness plains.
History
Beginnings of the Forest
On the morning of May 26, 2024, the bamboo forest first began construction west of Cape Cod. It quickly spread through the plains of Rhode Island and was labeled, "The Great Bamboo Forest of New England" by its anonymous creators. The bamboo was then taken to Maine, where it was planted and spread across a coastal plain. On May 27, 2024, the bamboo was spread to the Delmarva Peninsula and planted densely throughout the expansive plain.
