Pre History

Port Jason was established on March 31st of 2024, with its sister city, Sailport, being founded on April 2nd of the same year. Soon Port Jason grew into the largest city in Havaiki and even came to boast a district/state which consisted of the following towns: Port Jason, Sailport, Hunters Island, New Plymouth, and West Cape.

Seemingly out of nowhere, a Port Jason citizen was harassed and trolled by the Havaikians who simply wouldn't stop despite the leader of District Jason intervening. This lead the residents of Port Jason to leave the Discord, instigating an independence plan involving all district member cities, which were to leave Havaiki altogether. The president of Zealandia, Baconmayonaise1, announced quote: "Havaiki and Zealandia could never work into one nation due to this behavior and toxicity we have had to face from them." Following this, the Republic of Zealandia claimed sovereignty.

History

Foundation

Due to the sickening behavior of the Havaikians, the former leader of the District of Jason decided to hold a vote to determine if independence from Havaiki was desired. The vote was unanimously in favor of independence. Consequently, an independence plan was enacted, and 2000 gold was raised in 4 days thanks to donors such as Orbious, Khaled, and Baconmayonaise1, among others. Shortly after its founding, Zealandia faced an "invasion" by Havaiki, resulting in significant casualties for Zealandia. An estimated 1 Havaikians were lost, compared to roughly 0 members of Port Jason.

Zealandia was founded by Baconmayonaise1, Khaled, Orbious, and Snowy_23. Khaled, a dedicated miner and donor, played a significant role in the nation’s development. Port Jason and Sailport merged to form a state within Havaiki, soon joined by West Cape. Port Jason was chosen as the capital of the District/State due to its size and significance. It was also the first to enlist citizens for military purposes and established bases in the towns within the district.

The District of Jason, once formed, soon controlled the South Island and parts of the North Island.

Port Jason

Port Jason was established on March 31st, 2024. The mayor, Baconmayonaise1, originating from New Mexico, fled due to corruption in the previous New Mexican leadership before it was sold. Orbious and the other founding members were key to the establishment of Port Jason and Sailport. Prior to joining Havaiki, Mayor Baconmayonaise1 recruited three members: Snowy_36, TheJTime, and Scrambledtots, who, along with Baconmayonaise1, became known as the founding members. Three days after its founding, Port Jason left the nation of Aotearoa to join New Havaiki. Port Jason quickly gained popularity within the nation due to its active members and rapid growth.

Port Jason received a donation of 1800 gold from an anonymous individual referred to by Baconmayonaise1 as 'Jason'. This donation helped the town reach a milestone of 100 chunks, making it the most populated city in New Zealand, with over 20 residents.

Districts & Towns

Port Jason

Port Jason is the largest city within Zealandia and serves as the capital of Zealandia. It is often compared to New York in terms of infrastructure and manufacturing. The predominant religion in Port Jason is Catholic, heavily influenced by Pope Leo, a former member of New Mexico. The town is now considered the economic capital of New Zealand and is open for nation members to visit via /n spawn Zealandia

Sailport

Sailport funded the creation of Zealandia and was intended to be the 2nd town to join Zealandia.

New Plymouth

New Plymouth was the 2nd town to secede from Havaiki and join Zealandia.

Noumea

Noumea formed the first state in Zealandia called 'New Caledonia' whereas other major towns such as Port Jason are apart of the Federal State.

Silverwood

This town was formed because of the mayor wanting to be close to the rest of us and he was very dedicated and deserved a town of his own.

Goro

Goro was the 2nd town to join the State of New Caledonia, Zealandia

Hunters Island

Hunters Island is always confused for an island which was because the owner at the time thought it was a island it was funny once Baconmayonaise1 told him about the dynmap afterwards.

Montina

Montina was ousted from Havaiki due to "inactivity". The town later joined Zealandia.

Auckland

Auckland was and still is a member of New Zealand.

Raikura

Raikura was established by an early settler and was acquired by Zealandia, providing Zealandia with it's initial foothold in the South Island.
