Sumy (Ukrainian: Суми, Russian: Сумы) is a city in northeastern Ukraine (Aurora). It serves as the administrative center of Sumy Oblast. It is the fourth most populated city in Ukraine (Aurora) as of May 10th, 2025.

Geography

Sumy is located east of the Ukranian capital city, Brovary, west of Kursk and north of Poltava. The terrain of the city is flat.

History

The town of Sumy was founded on the 14th of April, 2025. It was founded by iam_sky7 (known as Sky).
On April 16th construction of the central park started, and was completed on April 18th.
Between April 17th and April 24th, the first 2 apartments, on Lesya Ukrainka street, were built.
Construction of the shop of Sumy started on April 25th and was finished on April 28th. The Storage Room of Sumy was also built between those two dates.
On an unknown date, a Nether Metro station was built, connecting Bila Tserkva with Sumy.
On May 8th, planning for the Mall of Sumy started. Construction is expected to start on May 11th and it is projected to be completed by May 20th.
