What it is:
The Coob is a religious and cultural object of great significance to the Arabian Peninsula. It is the holiest object of many faiths, most notably Sigmaism. The Coob is a square structure that houses "holy relics" inside of it, much of which is unknown and has only been seen by one person, the Prophet. The Coob appeared on the Arabian Peninsula sometime around summer of 2024 on Aurora.
History of the Coob
The First Coob
The first Coob was near the Red Sea, over the Asir mountains. A player named Glitchyfartz came into the area around fall of 2024 and founded a holy Kingdom around the Coob, as well as started the religion today known as Sigmaism. This Kingdom is known as the First Coob Kingdom, and the people followed strict religious regulations in order to appease the Coob. Glitchyfartz put an object known as the "Holy Shit" inside of the Coob, claiming it was of divine nature and from the heavens. This became the first item the Coob housed and protected. More items of significance would later be added to the Coob by the Prophet.
The Crusades
After a dispute about territory between The Crusader States and the Coobist Saudi Kingdom erupted, the city that housed the Coob was burned to the ground and the Coob destroyed. The Holy Relics inside of the Coob, however, were saved by the Prophet before he went into hiding. The First Kingdom fell and was forgotten.
The New Coob
After a while, Glitchyfartz returned to the lands of Arabia and established a new city, Al Riyadh, in the center of the Peninsula. Here, the new Coob was constructed in the center of the city, and the relics were placed back inside of this new Coob. The city began to grow around the Coob and workers from all over the world came to help it expand, showing that the Coob could unite peoples across the globe. By the time of this writing, the Coob still stands today in Al Riyadh, under the protection of the Fartz dynasty in the new Second Kingdom.
