Nelson County is a county in northern Cascadia. Located in the plains of Northern Alberta north of the Rocky Mountains, it is bordered by Mackenzie County to the northwest, the foreign state of NWT to the north, Yellowknife County to the northeast, Athabasca County to the southeast, and Cariboo County to the south. Yojimbo, formerly known as Edson, is the county seat, and it has a population of 9 as of September 2025.
It is represented in the House of Representatives by the Great North electoral division. It is a relatively rural, remote, and underdeveloped region of Cascadia.
