This caused a backlash from the Cascadian Discord, which caused Vorobyevite to form a separatist group with other towns such as Seattle, Masset, and Winthrop. It was founded initially as a discord, that was focused on creating the Salish Federation in response to the supposed dictatorship of Cascadia.

Overview


The Salish Federation is a group of semi-autonomous nations that occupies swaths of territory in the Pacific Northwest of North America. The Salish Federation was created by seceding out of the Republic of Cascadia by pro-democracy towns.


History


The nation of the Salish Federation was founded on the 10th of February, 2020, by Vorobyevite.


Separation and Cascadian Backlash


On February 8, 2020, the founder of Cascadia, RangerMK01, stepped in to Cascadian politics and announced that the next in line for President if the current president resigned would be LawOfRence of Port Angeles. This scenario was caused when Estonian_Mapping suggested that he step down to help directly develop Ontario. The Chancellor

Head of the nation, but is elected by the Parliament and works alongside Delegates as a fellow peer. In the case of a tied vote in the Parliament, it travels to the Chancellor as a tiebreaker vote worth two. The Chancellor as a fellow delegate may also initiate proposals to become law.

The Cabinet

A multitude of Delegates chosen by the Chancellor, for various roles within the Federation.
