The Jing Dynasty was formed from the Qin Dynasty, who were made from the 3 kingdoms of China out of dissatisfaction with the decay left from the Praxian Era. Days after the Qin Dynasty was formed, entire states became revived, and cities faced rapid progression. However, it was nearing another stagnation. The Huli Jing took it upon himself to reform things even further, and overtook the command of Qin Shi Huang.
Reformed System
Formerly, the previous dynasties held little extra additions to a Feudal Monarchy. As players were decaying away during the Praxian Era, and there was even fewer cities in earlier dynasties, the fight against decay was too rampant to do more than have each lord cling to their powers while enduring the months of storm.
The Hu Li Jing wished to make a proper Chinese state, and has begun to reform to a Meritocracy. The first attempt involved keeping track of deeds. Such an action lead to the Duel of the Princes. Due to the table being easy to abuse, players began to buy their scores instead of work for them, essentially fighting a Meritocratic Monarchy with an Oligarchy. This forced the first Meritocracy to be removed.
The second attempt re-evaluated the first. Most notably, it has prompted gold ores and iron ores instead of their bar counterpart. An honourable mention would be Merit Game, which has sparked contests and competitions to be made. Once the second attempt was put in place, no amount of attempt at abuse made it budge.
External Affairs
At the very dawn of Jing, enemies were made for the most bizzare of reasons.
Most notably, ego_sum_jeffum attempted to tear it apart because it wasn't communist, and when he failed, he kept antagonizing the dynasty by publicly accusing it of being a dictatorship with no evidence to back himself up.
Another self-declared enemy was Saigo Takamori, who threatens to invade Korea, and threatens to push into the rest of Jing territory. Like ego_sum_jeffum, he too represents the bare opposite of the rest of his country.
ItsChickenHead attempted to pull a Praxis on Jing territory by wedging a city in between Ye and Jianye with his alt. This prompted expanding Jianye so far north there was no room to make Nanjing any longer.
Internal Affairs
The Tai state requested to become independent. The request was granted. Taiwan later formed the nation of the USTN with Seaterrica.
