The July 2021 Alberta general election (formally the 12th general election) was held on June 30, 2021, to elect the Premier to lead the 12th Legislative Assembly of Alberta lasting until July 31, 2021. No candidates besides the incumbent Premier WeirdGamerAidan of Drumheller stepped forward, and he was acclaimed Premier for a second term unopposed. This was the last Alberta general election to occur while Alberta was a Province of British Columbia, and the last election where the Prime Minister was called the Premier.
