The Battle of Paris is a battle that opposes the Crusaders from the Roman Catholic Church leaded By BenedictXVII against the Kingdom of Francia and the Apostolic Church leaded by Thanamos. The Battle lasted arround 3 hours and leaded to a Francian victory in terms of cassualties and that all of the crusaders army fled away.

The Battle of Paris is a battle that opposes the Crusaders from the Roman Catholic Church leaded By BenedictXVII against the Kingdom of Francia and the Apostolic Church leaded by Thanamos. The Battle lasted arround 3 hours and leaded to a Francian victory in terms of cassualties and that all of the crusaders army fled away.

Context

On the 23 June of 2021, Pope Benedict excommunicate king Thanamos for treason, espionnage and spirituals conflicts. After escalating tensions between Francia and the Church, Pope Benedict declare the holy crusade against Francia and Thanamos on the 04 July 2021.

After failed attempt to reunify both side and find compromise, the newly Apostolic Church decides to launch a raid against Vatican on the 15 August 2021. Pope Benedict decides to raise one of the biggest army of EMC to launch an attack against Francia on the 22 August 2021.

The Battle preparations

The crusader army was one of the biggest army raised on EMC (arround 30 people join the army) while Francia's army was composed of 5 people. Francia did call his allies and volunteers from Serbia, Victoria and Britain came. Francia army was arround 9 people at the beginning of the battle. To counter effect the number, Francia quickly manage to set up traps which will be important for the result of the battle

The Battle

The first hour

The crusaders decides to launch a direct attack against Francia position. But a lot of crusaders fall into Francia traps. Arround 9 crusaders were killed during this first hour with 6 with full mending gear. The Pope Benedict was hiding in his claim leading the crusade while King Thanamos was fighting alongside with his army. This action cause a lot of Crusaders to loose moral and leave the battlefield.

The second hour: the arrival of Israel

The arrival of Israel make Francia's army fall back and loose some land. Some Francian died which provocks a loose of moral. After an issue of permission in on of the traps. Israel manage to stole war treasure into on of Francian's trap.

The end of the battle : The crusaders retreat.

After multiples naked crusaders being killed and Francian reinforcement from Poland and Illinois. The crusaders decides to retreat which lead to a defeat of the crusaders.

The consequences of the battle

The Battle of Paris is full of consequences in terms of geopolitics. It stopped once and for all the church attack against Francia and demonstrate the weakness of their army. It confirm Francia military suppremacy on their border. The church have loosen their psychological advantage of their number which will rebalance the winner of this crusade.
