The Kingdom of Penguinia is a town located on the coast of Antarctica, nestled within the glaciers. The town is run by ArizTrad and is in the nation Connecticut and Nazi Germany while also being a vassal of Ulm. The town is the most diplomatically complicated in the world due to it's incredibly unique history as one of the first towns to spawn directly from another town.

History of Penguinia

Pre-Independence

The p^5 of Ulm paperpikmin established an Antarctican outpost along the coast for future needs and for an easier port to multiple regions of the world, and decided to name the outpost the Kingdom of Penguinia. The outpost was largely neglected until ArizTrad decided to move to Ulm and settle the barren landscape. Under him and a new colonist soon after, wolfbj, the empty outpost quickly became a fully functioning town, just like all others, except operating under Ulm directly. The outpost thrived as new goods were brought over such as pumpkins and sheep, and the town became wealthy due to being on top of a large reserve of gold in Antarctica, virtually unheard of before.

Penguinia Secession

Due to the outpost operating as an independent town, and due to completely different recruitment policies that were completely incompatible, the king of Penguinia, ArizTrad, asked paperpikmin for independence. Ulm agreed to independence under the condition that they repay the money spent on claiming the land (48) and agree to vassalage, allowing the two towns to remain one in kindred. The town agreed, paying the sum, and established an independent vassal town in Antarctica.

Vassalage Crisis

Many foreigners, unknowing on the agreements made, saw this as a direct rebellion in Ulm, and insisted that the new town was entirely independent. This became more prevalent when the town joined Connecticut, while their overlord town Ulm was in Nazi Germany. The principality however silenced these rumors, establishing their authority over the town, and declaring it to be theirs.

Government of Penguinia

Structure

The Kingdom of Penguinia is a kingdom with ArizTrad has the king. The nation is a one man regime, however with colonists generally agreeing on decisions together. The nation is a vassal under Ulm, however is given freedom of autonomy, allowing them to join whatever nation they want and partake in any diplomatic action they wish. The nation is also part of Connecticut and is according to their government, and is officially under Nazi Germany as well, although the nation exhibits no authority over the kingdom.
