The town is located on the Kuril Islands. The very first building in the town is a lighthouse, created in the image real lighthouse Aniva. The name of the town is taken from another real lighthouse, as it was supposed that the town would include only one lighthouse, but the mayor decided to increase the town further. The town is located on several natural islands, and also includes buildings on stilts over water and artificial islands. Under the town there is an extensive network of underground communications.
