Project Goals
Project Penguin takes place on EarthMC's Terra Aurora and aims to have amazing penguins built in as many towns on EarthMC as possible.
Why
The project is simply because MasterEWild thought it would be fun. Wild built a penguin in his town of Fort Aurelian and never took it down.
Inspiration
Project Penguin is HEAVILY inspired by Project Cinnamoroll which aimed to have cinnamorolls built all around the server, Project Cinnamoroll is now sadly discontinued.
How do people submit a penguin
To register a penguin you must go to the # 📄│register-a-penguin channel in the Project Penguin official discord and make a ticket. You must include your IGN, town and a photo of your penguin build. After a penguin is submitted a photo of the penguin and the creators IGN and town will be put in the penguin gallery channel where all penguins are shown.
Build Contest
From April 13th to May 5th, Project Penguin held their first build contest in which a total of 5 penguins were submitted. This ended with the town of Purest Pines winning 3rd place, gaining a prize of 30g, the town of Vermont getting 2nd and winning 60g and finally, Newbury winning the first place prize of 120g.
Certificates of Participation
These were certificates that were given out to the first 10 towns to enter, since 10 towns have entered the certificates are gone until 50 penguins have been submitted.
Transition to the Project Penguin Lounge
After a lack of engagement within Project Penguin, the project transitioned into the Project Penguin Lounge on July 29th 2024 after a vote. This meant, though penguins were still the main focus of the project, other EMC community building/informative channels were added to give the project a wider appeal.
Number of Penguins Submitted
So far a total of 28 penguins have been submitted, with one in 25 different towns.
(3 towns with 2 penguins)
