This is the part where you can say a few details about who or what you are. Also, ignore the box meant for relaying subdivisions, several are used for explanatory purposes so it isn't as viable.

=== '''<u>Before Creating the Page</u>''' ===
== History ==
* Search for your town/nation/alliance to make sure a page doesn't exist already.
This section is NOT optional, as it will end up being the bulk of your article. It is however lenient and not much has to be written, as long as it has some subdivisions. Subdividing should be done in longer, broader time periods, and then smaller specific ones. How long or short you want each period to be is totally up to you. If you don't want to do multiple subdivisions, only using Sub-heading 1 is perfectly fine for player articles.
* If another page exists, consider adding to that page instead.

=== '''<u>The first step is to copy the template</u>''' ===
Subdividing has always been really inconsistent so this is not final, but its better to use headings as intended. So for example:
# Find the template to the town, nation or alliance using the links listed above.
# Hover over the blue "'''Edit'''" button and select "'''Classic Editor'''"
# Near the top and middle of that edit page are two gray tabs "Source", and "Visual".
# Click on the "'''Source'''" tab" and a blank light gray text box will pop up.
# Copy all the text inside that light gray text box.  '''Note: Please be careful not to mess up the template.'''
# Exit the Source Edit without saving, by (1) clicking the '''Back''' button on your browser, and (2) then click on the blue "'''Leave'''" button.
# You are done with copying the template.

=== '''<u>The second step is to paste the template into your new page</u>''' ===
=== '''Have a Sub-heading 1 as the first one in a group''' ===
# Go to the template page and click on the "'''Add'''" blue button.  At this point the page hasn't been created yet.

# Enter a page name for your new town, nation, or alliance
==== And Sub-heading 2 for specifics ====
# A blank white text box will pop up.
''Italicizing'' or '''bolding''' the first group makes it a lot easier to see in different to the smaller ones so its recommended.
# On the top of that edit box, click on the icon that looks like 3 bars (it has a drop down list), and select "'''Source Editor'''" from the drop down list.

# A blank light gray text box will show up. This is where you will '''paste''' the text template that you copied in the first step.
I would not recommend subheading 3 because it looks tiny and makes things weird
# Select "'''Apply Changes'''".

# You will be returned to the blank white text box.
otherwise feel free to write whatever history you want here

Here's an example:

=== '''<u>The third step is to add information and category</u>''' ===
# In the white text box, Input information about your town / nation / alliance.
# Select the correct category.  On the top of the edit box, click on the icon that looks like 3 bars (it has a drop down list), and select "'''Categories'''" from the drop down list.
# Under Categories, click in the text box "'''Add a Category'''".  Type in '''"Towns", "Nations" or "Alliance"'''.  If you typed correctly, you will see the word "Towns", "Nations" or "Alliance" below your cursor.  Click on the word and your page will be added to that category.
# you are satisfied with the page, select "'''Save Page'''".  (If not, click on "Cancel" to discard changes.)
# If you have saved the page, your page will be created and will show up under the category that you have selected.  Congratulations!

History

This section is NOT optional, as it will end up being the bulk of your article. It is however lenient and not much has to be written, as long as it has some subdivisions. Subdividing should be done in longer, broader time periods, and then smaller specific ones. How long or short you want each period to be is totally up to you. If you don't want to do multiple subdivisions, only using Sub-heading 1 is perfectly fine for player articles.

Subdividing has always been really inconsistent so this is not final, but its better to use headings as intended. So for example:

Have a Sub-heading 1 as the first one in a group

And Sub-heading 2 for specifics

Italicizing or bolding the first group makes it a lot easier to see in different to the smaller ones so its recommended.

I would not recommend subheading 3 because it looks tiny and makes things weird

otherwise feel free to write whatever history you want here

Here's an example:

Early History

Template1

When I first joined I was an excessive dabber. It was a grave time in my life, however after years of therapy I have gotten better. Blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah .

Template2

As you can see, it looks relatively neat when there is enough text in each subdivision, so this is the recommended route to take.

Towns

This can be a simple list of towns you've been in or a comprehensive list of every town with details, or even a description of a specific town your in. If you aren't in any town you can also just ignore this entirely.
