Greetings, I have made recent edits to this page including adding a current list of towns that I pulled Apr 22 2023.

. There are some large tables with a lot of outdated information. I am creating a former/past towns section where I will break the former towns out and list them under the Currents list.

Town listings/updating info

The town listing was very out of date. I created a former towns list and moved all unaffiliated towns into that section. I also trimmed out the information such as town mayors and town creation dates as that wasn't pertinent to the California page itself. There are only a few affiliated towns, either past or present, that have wiki pages. Those would be the areas to add information about the towns specifically. The original town table with the color scheme was problematic due to the formatting being done per cell as opposed to an overall style sheet. It could be brought back at some point but the mixed CSS/wiki markup was making it a beast to work with which is why I took the infos out of the table and created a bulleted table. I referred to the Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Accessibility Tables section to get this page more in compliance for screen readers and search crawling.

All town listings are also now arranged alphabetically so having a sortable table to house the information was no longer necessary.--KangChub#1192 (talk) 18:03, 23 April 2023 (CEST)
