History
The official date of the foundation of the city of Paradise is 17 May 2022, by KizerDark, when Porto Alegre was created and later changed in july to Paradise. When the city was created it caused controversy due to another player Sr_Marcola backed by the Original Aurora Brazilian government wanting to create the city, Due to this TwisterSelvagem tried to get KizerDark to change the city name and to allow the planned mayor to make a town next to Porto Alegre, but KizerDark refused, A deal was reached were the Sr_Marcola would give up on making Porto Alegre in exchange they would create the city of Jaguarão while KizerDark stayed in Porto Alegre. Over Paradise's early days it saw a large population boost due to KizerDark bringing many friends over from other servers. The City grew rapidly quickly becoming the largest town in Brazil. During late May the construction of the Paradise Falls began creating 2 large Waterfalls in the city, This time also saw Porto Alegre building its first 2 skyscrapers that are still standing to this date. By June 2022 Porto Alegre saw start of the development of its Metro system, It also saw the Paradise Falls being finished. By July 2022 Porto Alegre reached over 30 Residents and about 200 chunks in Size it also changed its name to Paradise. In early August 2022 Paradise saw a huge rise in Population and Size reaching over 50 residents and 480 chunks in size cementing itself as the largest town in Brazil by size ever since. But by late August 2022 things changed, due to residents being deleted the Mayor KizerDark gave up in expanding the town due to it losing too many residents per day. This saw the town becoming very inactive. The population quickly declined from September 2022 to December 2022 dropping from 50 residents down to 15 residents. This time became to be known as the Dark Ages for Paradise.
The City
Paradise lies around the Lagoa dos Patos the largest lagoon in the whole of Brazil, The Downtown of the city lies at the junction of two rivers, officially called Paradise River. The city dates from early may 2022, when KizerDark and other immigrants landed in the region. The city was officially established in May 2022. Paradise is one of the wealthiest cities in Latin America. Before July 2022, Paradise was known as Porto Alegre. It was initially settled by long time friends of KizerDark. Today Paradise is the most important city of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. The city is also known as "The City of Dreams" and under its native name "Porto Alegre." Paradise as the largest city in southern Brazil, it is an important industrial and cultural center in the region. With the skyline being one of the city's main features.
Geography
The city of Paradise is located around the Lagoa dos Patos. The city lies on the banks of the Rio Paraíso and the Rio Alegre which forms a large delta, the estuary of which forms the largest freshwater lagoon in Brazil, Lagoa dos Patos. The city also lies to the south of 2 large waterfalls collectively known as the Paradise Falls which is fed by Lake Bagel. The city additionally serves as the state capital of Brazil's southernmost state, Rio Grande do Sul.
