Rhineland== The Rhineland is a region in western Europe. It encompasses the Rhine river itself and the surrounding territories. As of right now the Rhineland is one of the most independence-seeking regions around the world.
Historical Rhineland
The first (known) Rhineland settler was Emperor Amune von Bonne who came to the region on the 14th of April 2019. That day was also his very first day on the server and with the generosity of the french emperor he founded the first (known of) settlement in the Rhineland, the town of Bonne.
A few days later on the 20th of April DanielPoli and BlockForcer (at that time it was BlockForcer66) founded their own town a few chunks south from Bonne called Frankfurt.
On the // of April 2019, With Amune reaching out for a border treaty Bonne and Frankfurt established official diplomatic relations for the first time ever.
Shortly after Bonnes establishment, Amune got an offer from the king of Burgundy to join his nation rather than staying in the french empire which he promptly accepted. In Burgundy Bonne was economically situated a lot better than it was in France.
After a while, as relations between Bonne and Frankfurt grew closer and closer a union was proposed, the birth of the idea of a politically unified Rhineland.
As the king of Burgundy wanted to leave the server and transfer the rights to the nation to Bonne so that Bonne and Frankfurt could unify the Rhineland the great toyfag invasion of Mayhappened and thus a massive influx of new players flooded the server and its queue. On the worst days it could take up to 4 - 5 hours to get on the server so many people became inactive. As well as Amune did.
But Frankfurt didn't let the toyfags get the best of them and carried on, only fueled by a strong will and hope.
After months of Amunes inactivity and Bonne being a practical ghost town the Emperor of the Rhine, Amune von Bonne returned on the 9th of November 2019 to EarthMC. While only logging in for a very short amount of time, or at least planned so, to make sure his town wouldn't be erased because of inactivity, Amune took a little walk through Frankfurt and through coincidence met DanielPoli again. Since that very day, the Rhineland is alive again, better than ever before!
