The Battle of Paris (8/22/2021)
Causes of the Battle
The battle was a part of the war between France and Francia, and more specifically, a call for a crusade by the Pope a few days before the battle began. The Pope scheduled the crusade to happen on the Sunday of 8/22/2021 at 2:00 PM. About a dozen people showed up to fight on the border between Paris and Champagne.
The Battle
The battle began around 2:00 pm and lasted until approximately 3:45 pm. Neither side were able to secure a complete victory and casualties were relatively low due to the area with pvp being surrounded by non-pvp areas, allowing damaged soldiers to fall back and heal before heading into battle again. The battle ended shortly after the Pope left the scene of the battle, causing Thanamos to claim victory and also causing the anti-Francia soldiers to slowly disperse. The leader of Francia, Thanamos, declared victory at 3:22 pm.
