People's Republic of China (PRC; Chinese: 中华人民共和国), is a country in East Asia. The country consists of 22 provinces, five autonomous regions, four municipalities, and two Special Administrative Regions (Hong Kong and Macau).

Capital

The national capital is Guangzhou, the political and financial center.

Government

PRC is currently governed as a unitary one-party socialist republic by the CPC. PRC is a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council and a founding member of South China Sea Treaty Organization (SCSTO).

President

The current president of the PRC is Ange1x, who took office in September 2022, replacing sky_space_.
