Overview

Leipzig is a Democratic Republic founded in Eastern Germany and has been troubled with hardship since its existence.

Political Affiliation

For most of its existence, Leipzig has been a member of Germany or German successor states. The leadership of Leipzig wishes for a time back when Germany was a democracy under the GDR.

Architecture

Leipzig's architecture style has been influenced by the Socialist Realism style prevalent in the former German Democratic Republic and other Warsaw Pact countries.
