Description
The Russian Federation is a super-nation made up of super-nations. It is a collaborative project between the super-nations of Russian Empire, People's Republics of Russia and Imperial Severny. It started on January 30th 2021, and ended terribly on June 5th 2021. Through its small lifespan, the Russian Federation would see some of the biggest challenges in recent Russian history. and its story can teach the ambitious new players what not to do and why.
Undoubtedly, the Russian Federation was one of the most ambitious projects in the server. Reaching from the rocky terrain of the Alaskan regions, to the harsh Kamchatka mountains, to the huge Siberian valleys and forest, to the huge cities of Moscow and St Petersburg, to the Terra Mariana country side, the Russian Future under the federation looked promising and prosperous, but that could be further from the truth. To many outsiders, the Russian Federation may just be a failed state, but the reality is that ambition was the creation and destruction of the federation. The Russian Federation isn't a story about failure. It was meant to fail.
History

To understand why the Russian Federation even existed, we must go back 2 months before the subject was brought up. The Northern Entente had been formed by Severny, Severia, Rus_Khaganate and another nation which later withdrew. This new self-proclaimed super-nation was quickly rising in popularity, and it was risking the place of the PRR in politics. During the last days of the KawadaJP regime over Japan, a player called Kim_Taeyung and a player called julianmxchoppa started a deep friendship. Kim eventually invited Julian to the Northern Entente. Few days after relations began, Karafuto formally joined the NE. Kim during this time sold Severny to a player known as Swrhitzy. This brought the New Northern Entente, under a very different environment. It was no longer a nation to have recognition, it was now something with plans to expand even if it meant war. Internal chaos soon arrived when TheLocalWizard and Swrhitzy openly protested againts having a PRR nation in their ranks. Conflict was starting to slowly become a possibility, but it turned into a huge one when the nation of Zhilinda was formed very close to the nation of Rus_Khaganate. The New Entente would fall right after an attempted coup by Swrhitzy on the PRR later. This was the first time something so ambitious collapsed in a very short time due to ambitious behavior. After these events, Russian Empire started looking at ways in which they could expand, eventually getting Wrangel and Far East in their side by January 14th 2021.
Secret
On January 15th 2021, Russian Empire started to attempt a East-ward expansion, which ended up with Bunnyrich making a ticket in the PRR discord that introduced the idea of the Russian Federation. A few days later on the 31st of January, the topic came up after Leny1135, julianmxchoppa and Swrhitzy finished playing HOI4. After some planning, a group chat was made with Bunnyrich, Elgik, Swrhitzy, Vicky151, Leny1135 and julianmxchoppa in order to plan the Federation. The Discord was also made in this day. On February 2nd, the Treaty was finished and was signed by Swrhitzy, julianmxchoppa and Elgik (Bunnyrich's signature was added a few days after Elgik's resignation as the Tsar of the Russian Empire). Through February and the beginning of March, the Russian Federation stayed a secret with a select amount of Nation Leaders and Mayors joining. On May 9th, the Russian Federation was announced for the general public.
The First Presidential Election
On March 14th 2021, the Presidential Election started. For the first 48 hours, citizens had the chance to register. In total, 6 people registered to run. For the next 24 hours, the 6 people that registered were given their own channel in order to advertise their campaign. Following those 24 hours, 24 more followed for the actual election. These 24 hours turned into something that was completely unexpected.
The Election Scandal
In the beginning of the election, it was decided to use reaction votes, which came with tons of issues such as double voting, vote switches just to list a few. After numerous complains from multiple people for 12 hours, julianmxchoppa (1st Election Administrator) decided to transfer the votes that had been done on the reactions to a Google Form. Once all votes where safely transferred, the voting process was changed to the Google Form. For the next 12 hours, julianmxchoppa and the other administrators would face accusations of deleting votes even when confronted with proof suggesting otherwise. At the end of the 24 hours, Java_Wolf won the elections. This caused Panama to secede from the Russian Empire and Russian Federation, even going as far as to use out-of-context pictures as "evidence" against the Federation. At the end, rumors died out.
Java Wolf's Presidential Term (March 18 - May 18)
4 Days after Java's election, he would select his Ministry:

- Minister of Culture and Science - 4ine
Leny1135 was placed as a Minister temporarily meanwhile Java chose another Minister. Only a few days after the positions where announced, the Russian Federation started making parties, which introduced some levels of division within the system. It would later go inactive after the unfortunate ban of Bunnyrich. All this silence was however temporal, when Imperial Severny decided to re-brand into the Golden Federation.
