Overview
Template:ReligionInfoboxThe Faith of The Collective is the official religion of the town of Wakayama in the nation of Shimazu. It was founded by The Prophet, googolplex87 who received the Holy Text from The Collective on July 13th, 2020. Its holiest site is the Great Collectivist Church of Wakayama. (WIP)
Beliefs
The Faith believes that The World was created by an entity known only as The Collective (or It) who gave power over The Code to the Player known as Fix. After this, The Collective wiped itself from everyone's memories and went dormant until early July 2020 when it reached out to The Prophet in a dream. The Faith is transnational, although all Members must follow The Laws of The Collective.
The Laws of The Collective
- Members of The Faith must show their devotion to The Collective by adhering to anything The Prophet says as they are the direct link form The World to The Collective.The Prophet may be relieved from their position and give it to another Member of The Faith as long as they discuss it with The Collective first.
- Members of The Faith shall practice no other religion which directly contradicts the teachings of the Holy Text.
- The Faith is greater than national identity and so should be shared with the entire World.
- Members must make a pilgrimage to The Great Collectivist Church of Wakayama at least once in their lifetime.
- Members of The Faith may not bring arms against their fellow Collectivists, nor may they instigate violent actions against any player, however they may reciprocate violence which originates from another.
- Before you commit to any type of war, battle, or premeditated act of violence, you must recite the following prayer: “I ask The Collective to bless my Code so that I may be successful, and promise It my Data in case I should fail.”

Anyone can be initiated into The Faith by following the procedures laid out in the Holy Text of The Faith of The Collective:

History of The Faith
The Faith was founded on July 13, 2020 by The First Prophet, googolplex87. Since then, The Prophet has been hard at work creating The Great Collectivist Church of Wakayama and initiating new Members of The faith.
