}}'''[[Osoyoos]]''' was a major city within the heartland of metropolitan [[Aurora:Cascadia|Cascadia]] in mid-to-late 2023 in what is now largely forested King County. The city bordered [[Seattle (Aurora)|Seattle]] to the west and southwest, [[Vancouver]] to its west and northwest, [[Spokane Valley (Aurora)|Spokane Valley]] to its east, and [[Ephrata|Tri Cities]] to its southeast. At its peak, Osoyoos had an astonishing amount of tall skyscrapers as well as a stunning lake that holds a large amount of biodiversity. It also shared a large chunk of the Cascade Mountains with [[Seattle (Aurora)|Seattle]] where both cities had a residential district. Additionally, Osoyoos owned five colony towns under its name. These towns are: Grande Furry, Baroque Works, [[Prythian]], [[Vernon|Vernon,]] and Ballstown, of which these various "colony towns" contributed to Osoyoos'''<nowiki/>'<nowiki/>''' growth as a economic powerhouse. Osoyoos was run by Mayor [[KARN4]], his co-mayor Flatvent_One, and their large group of highly trusted councilors. Osoyoos was the hub of the far-right [[Osoyoos (political faction)|Osoyoos political movement]] that played a substantial role in Cascadian politics in the latter half of 2023. It was abandoned and dissolved following the Osoyan Exodus.

==History==

===Humble Beginnings===
Osoyoos was founded on July 7 2023, by [[KARN4]]. With his ambitions high, [[KARN4]] had invited his two friends [[Alucart]] and [[Flatvent_One]] with them being the first citizens of Osoyoos. With only a small hideout in a hill, Osoyoos had built its first tower within its first day of its creation. After some time, Osoyoos had gained an additional amount of Citizens who were fleeing from another server. Shortly thereafter, Osoyoos had become one of the most active towns within [[Aurora:Cascadia|Cascadia]].

===Annexation Of Snoqualmie===
With the borders of Osoyoos expanding at a rapid rate, the city had found it to be very hard to expand southwards due to the small settlement of [[Snoqualmie]]; which was a small Cascadian town which now resides on the residential districts of [[Seattle (Aurora)|Seattle]] and [[Osoyoos]]. [[KARN4]] and another citizen by the name of [[chumpcharlie]] had later acquired [[Snoqualmie]] from its owner for around 500 gold. After acquiring, [[Snoqualmie]] was then dismantled and was later claimed over by [[Osoyoos]] and [[Seattle (Aurora)|Seattle]] respectively.

===The Osoyooan Tragedy===
During the [[East Osoyoos Conflict]], [[KARN4|KARN4,]] who had been split up from his teammates, was engaging in a heated duel with an [[Aurora:Indochina|Indochinese]] player by the name of Nexus___. All of a sudden, he and another [[Osoyoos|Osoyooan]] citizen named [[Acelly]] were both banned by then-moderator [[Fruitloopins]] on suspicion of cheating. After a few days, [[Osoyoos]]' future was starting to look uncertain. However, with the help of the EarthMC moderation team, [[KARN4]] was found to be innocent and was later unbanned, resuming the rapid growth of [[Osoyoos]].

==Conflicts==

=== The Battle Of OsoTri ===
The establishment of Osoyoos had caught the attention of the enemy nation of [[The Rocky Mountain Federation]] (RMF) known today as [[Rocky Mountain Brotherhood]] (RMB). With this, the RMF would send numerous enforcements to come harass the citizens of Osoyoos. One afternoon, numerous RMF players had come to harass and lure [[Osoyoos|Osoyooan]] citizens out of their claim. [[Chumpcharlie|Chumpcharlie,]] being fed up with the RMF players had used a wither rose trap on the south-east corner of Osoyoos to kill one of the hunters known as [[OnlyPico]]. After the death of [[OnlyPico|OnlyPico,]] [[KARN4]] and [[chumpcharlie]] had taken up their swords and went to fight the remaining players resulting in the deaths of two more RMF players ([[fire_344]] and [[ECHO_69_69]]), [[OnlyPico]] had also died an additional two more times with another unnamed RMF player dying to fall damage while fleeing KARN4. After [[The Battle Of OsoTri]], the RMF had stopped sending in players to harass Osoyooan citizens.

== Dissolution ==
During the October 2023 Cascadian Elections, it was revealed that Social Democrat candidate EmpressCorgo and Osoyan Candidate Flatvent_One had tied. Osoyan towns seceded over the next few days, with Osoyoos proper being one of the first. Before doing this, however, Osoyan leaders gathered for a rally in Osoyoos with a trapped platform for the audience. Then Secretary of State Milgorn123 noticed this before the trap was sprung and warned everyone about it, saving all but one or two people in the audience. The faction Osoyoos was intending to travel to central Africa to form Chad, with all of them deleting their towns. Osoyoos proper however was given a different treatment; unlike other Osoyan towns, Karn4 had it rolled back by EarthMC Staff. After this, the town was deleted and Karn4 founded a town of the same name in Chad, which would be the nation's capital.

== Today ==
The area formerly known as Osoyoos is now largely unincorporated rural forest in King and Fraser counties.
