=== Pre-EarthMC ===
Prior to even setting foot on EarthMC, Luke883 had a long history with towny servers. The first towny server he ever joined was called KingdomCraft, which he joined in December of 2012. The experience he had in his years of playing on this server can fill an entire book on its own, but the main highlight of his time on this server was that he created his first ever town. Titled "Cascades", the town was situated on a snowy mountain range, surrounded by jungles and plains. This town reached a peak of an estimated 60 residents, until the server itself died in 2014 due to inactivity and lack of funds. For a while, Luke's towny ambitions were crushed, as all his hard work had gone to nothing. However, in the winter of 2016, Luke found himself on another towny server called RebirthCraft. There, he managed to established a new and more organized town, titled "New Cascades", a tribute to his old town on KingdomCraft. That town reached a peak of 50 residents, but died out sometime in the summer of 2016 due to unknown reasons. It wasn't until January 1st of 2017 where Luke discovered the EarthMC server.

=== Early days ===
Luke first joined EarthMC on January 1st of 2017. The first town he joined was Macon_GA (now known as Georgia) , which was (at the time) the most populated and most powerful town of the entire server (being the former capitals of PWW). He set up shop in this town and lived there for some time, before deciding that he wanted to establish a town of his own. After gathering enough gold, he traveled to Iowa to create his town. Iowa was the location that he chose due to its strategic location near two major rivers and because of its vast, flat prairies. He set up shop, built the town spawn plot that is still used to this day, and soon, things took off from there.
